Either using in app motion or setting up motion zones from the app on Arden. Arden is $299. Yes it is patched.

Can you use your own http command to trigger the camera overlay?
Is this sold anywhere where users leave reviews? Are there plans to update to Oreo?

Yes. Overlays can be triggered with http commands. Even more powerful is tasker integration. So there is no limit what action can be used to trigger events. No reviews yet. Plan for oreo is in the works.

Exactly....I am not sure about other providers but I do know DirecTV requires 2.2 (at least for 4k).

Mistake on my part. It is hdcp 2.2. I have customers who have directv who use directv and it works great. Sorry for the misinformation. I am also in talks with directv and will be meeting their rep at ces this week to discuss collaboration.

Awesome thanks! I was using an older Onkyo receiver and I upgraded to the latest DirecTV receivers. Everything worked great but when I went to enable 4K resolution it failed because the Onkyo didn't support 2.2

Seems like a really cool product, but probably a bit steep for me. Good luck!

Can I use any IP camera with this? I am interested in it if it overlay video over whatever we are watching when a motion is detected

We are a Deaf family so an alert like this is what we been looking for. Even we want doorbell to interrupt our programming.

We watch all our TV show on Amazon FireTV

What model ip cameras do you use. In addition i can also trigger other devices too when motion is detected. Like philips hue lights to flash a specific color and more.

Dauha starlight camera.

I started working on home automation by building raseberry pi and brought some Zwave lightbulb but it wasn't successful because the lights dim on slowly but f!ash on if you know what I mean. The bulb manufacture blame it on software and the developer blame it on bulb manufacture so I gave up on it for now and put my raseberry pi 3 in drawer for now

If your device an home automation and it seem to use wifi to signal out to other device? Will it support zwave too?

After reading over your website, is it only voice activated or does it have a web desktop and mobile app?
