'Third stream setting is normally under 'Maintence' -> 'System Service'

From your description sounds like your just getting a notification and that LPR is active, have you tested it yet?

For anybody wondering, it is possible to upgrade a non /P camera with LPR firmware. I followed these instructions How to set up Hikvision ANPR to the letter using the firmware attached below. The camera shows the "old" style interface but comes up as firmware version 5.4.5.

I am using this camera with a DS-7716NI-I4 NVR and the vehicle detection seems to work properly. I imported a license plate into the whitelist and was able to get the audible alarm on the NVR to activate when it picked up on the whitelisted plate. However, there is no notification in iVMS-4500 or Hik-Connect app like a line-crossing or alarm input event would trigger. I have a true DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P coming this week, I'll have to see if the push notifications for white/blacklisted plates work on that unit.

I would like to say thank you for the download link. Today I upgraded my ANPR camera's firmware from the Aus Hikvision site and my vehicle detection options disappeared! But the firmware you provided got it back :)

Can I ask where you found this firmware? Or is it best not to ask? I'm looking to buy a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P from aliexpress, the seller says no special firmware is needed, but I feel it probably is. Also I see your model had IHZS/P but the one I want is only IZS/P was the H a typo?

The firmware you posted works for ANPR and I appreciate you sharing it, however, it doesn't appear that it's actually v5.4.5 since it looks just like my previous 5.4.3 and still does not work with Google email since it doesn't allow for TLS encryption. Is there any way you could find a more recent one that supports both ANPR and TLS email encryption?

As for Gmail I found this fix to work. It's a Gmail problem not a firmware problem.

Thanks for your reply. I purchased a non-/P camera and uploaded 5.4.3 LPR firmware successfully. However, when I try to enable vehicle detection, I get an error saying "Third Stream cannot be used after the vehicle detection function is enabled." I cannot figure out how to disable the third stream.

Any way to upgrade firmware beyond 5.4.3? Looking like I should have just purchased the /P version. I paid $350 for the DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS and couldn't afford to pay $715 for the DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P model. But right now, I have no LPR function so basically worthless. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Hi, did you ever solved this, because I have exact the same problem. I get the error and not able to save :(

P.S. this firmware downgrade the unit from 60fps to max 30fps

I bought the P version camera and this firmware downgrades the fps to 20fps. I have replied in another thread with the proper P firmware which fixed the problem. Not sure if you can use it on non P version though

No, i don't think so, but the LPR isn't working as I get a error "Third Stream cannot be used after the vehicle detection function is enabled" and it's unable to save the settings page.

this is my cam info:

Model DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS
Serial No. DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS20180306CCWR**
Firmware Version V5.4.5 build 170302
Encoding Version V7.0 build 160822
Number of Channels 1
Number of HDDs 0
Number of Alarm Input 1
Number of Alarm Output 1

It's on the same versions as slopolytech, but i can't get LPR to work :(

OK. i solved my problem so if anyone get the error "Third Stream cannot be used after the vehicle detection function is enabled" do a factory default. Now I am able to set LPR settings and save them :)

Yeah I tried that before and tried it again with no luck after following all the steps on my Google account. Is that currently working for you?
Yes but I set it up on my NVR not the camera. I'll get a photo of the settings when I'm home later

I think it needs to be done from the NVR as the camera doesn't have connection to the internet directly. I could be wrong but I couldn't get it to send from camera either
