Dahua IPC Offline alarm

Hello everyone!

I have a Dahua CCTV.
It has this kind of structure:

1. Mikrotik RB2011iL-IN x 1
2. Dahua 4216-4KS2 x 1
3. D-Link DL-DES-1100-06MP/A1A x 3
4. Dahua HFW4830EP x 3 (outside)
5. Dahua HDW4431EMP x 4 (inside)
6. Dahua HDW4231EMP x 4 (elevator)

Camera settings:

- Dahua HFW4830EP | H.265, Smart, VBR, 6 144 mbps, | Record: 24/7 (Continuous)
- Dahua HDW4431EMP | H.265, Smart, VBR, 4 096 mbps, | Record: Motion Detect
- Dahua HDW4231EMP | H.265, Smart, VBR, 2 048 mbps, | Record: Motion Detect

Now the problem:
All cameras randomly disconnect from NVR.

The log in NVR:

Inside cameras always get disconnected for 11 seconds, outside ones for 14 seconds.
Tottaly don't understand the reason of that strange camera behavior.

When i tried to capture disconnect in live, the time on video was stopped and then after several seconds was going very fast after that just continues normaly, but if i tried to look playback i haven't any video in that moment.

Any suggestions or help ? :( Will be so grateful!

We have 3 PoE switches, and 4 camera take power from elevator cabine, so the power is not a problem. Also I think, that if camera was down because of power, I cannot saw frames from that moment (mention this situation, when I was try to capture disconnect moment) and another point, is that camera need more than 11 seconds to power on.

Nope, we haven’t any UPS.
 
@zubazuba try disabling the smart codec...
also, how are the switches connected to the NVR? does the run pass through the router? its always best to hook the NVR to the switches with the cameras and not pass the feed through the router except when remote viewing.

This is how our local network look like.

In two hours i will try put a switch between main switch and router. Will try that.
About cable - we already checked several times... didn't find any clue.
And smart codec point - we've were checking all types of settings, h.264 cbr, h.264 vbr, h.265 cbr and vbr, now trying smart codec, also we found strange thing with NVR receiving port, if we put h.264 and put VBR we have these bitrates on camera:
- Dahua HFW4830EP x 3 (outside) - 8 mbps - 24 mbps total
- Dahua HDW4431EMP x 4 (inside) - 4 mbps - 16 mbps total
- Dahua HDW4231EMP x 4 (elevator) - 2 mbps - 8 mbps total
Total sum: ~50

But port (Mikrotik) showing us that it's like : 120~ mbps (dropping from 80 to 140~), with h.265 smart - it's now 30 mbps to 50 mbps. seems very strange for me.

Only main stream on rec , and all substreams are off.

So we put additional switch between router and NVR, but this not helped :( after 10 minutes IPC offline alarm back :/
 
Can you plug your NVR on the swithch instead of Mikrotik router and make a test ?
 
what are the setting of your cam (ip,netmask, gw) ? and check if it feat your nvr settings

All cams are static IP, if they were wrong or have another network error i think they will not connect at all.
IP: 194.168.104.11-34, netmask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway 192.168.104.1 (router)
 
10ms isn't slow enough to be too worried. I'd do the same thing between other devices like the router. Let it run longer.

There are some command line switches you can use to send larger ping packets as a test too.

And what i need to look for? Ping spikes? or "stop responding"?

Done several cameras more, everythere the same, and some disconnects happen but there is no any evidance of some camera laggs at all... this camera get 2 Offline Alarm. Seems this problem not in network but in some kind of software... or idk :(

Can you test only with the cams on 1 switch (turn off the other camera connected to other swhitch) ? If ok, turn on the next switch

These 3 cameras are on 1 switch.

Street one camera, has two disconnect, but at that moment ping was 0,3 ms ~ and was stable

Inside camera, has any disconnects while was ping command.

104.31 - elevator cam, connected via powerline adapter, and it hasn't any offline alarm while was ping comman.

no disconnection when using only 1 switch ?
Can you test other switch the same way ?

I was writing about each camera,
104.21 - has two disconnects, another two - nope, but this is kind of “short” period of time.

And yesterday I switched all cameras to h.264 smart, and amount of dc dramatically decreased, especially at night.
H.265+ has more than 500 dc (11 cameras)
H.264+ has only 30. Seems that problem not in network, because h.264+ has much total bitrate than h.265 :/ may be some kind of NVR processor load? Or camera load?

Upd. More kind of shocking numbers.
Yesterday :
11 Cameras, H.265+ from 00:00 to 18:00 (18 hours) - 890 ~ disconnects

Today
11 Cameras, H.264+ from 00:00 to 18:00 (18 hours) - 72 disconnects
