4.8.2.2 - October 10, 2018

  • Software updates downloaded with HTTPS for enhanced firewall/antivirus compatibility

  • Status/messages log entries are now TAB delimited for easy parsing by external systems

  • Support for "HttpOnly" flag on web server Cookie header

  • UI3 update to leverage frame sizes saved to the database

FYI I am pretty sure you will break UI3 and some aspects of the login page if you enable the HttpOnly flag in the web server configuration. This issue came up a few months ago when Ken added that flag the first time (enabled by default without an option, at the time).

Hi fenderman and thank you!
I never was able to make the auto check for update feature works. I have it checked, but BI never updated itself whenever there is a new release. Thus, I have to do it manually.
Any advise or wisdom to share? Many thanks!

You dont want to auto update...always update manually.

No issues here (on two (2) separate and distinct Win10 Pro servers running BI as a service).

You change anything on "storage" / NAS Network ? I have add stored \\diskstation\BlueIris .. working long time now 1 Week not working ..

4.8.2.3 is out now.

Hi Neurobit,
How did you roll back to previous version?
Fortunately, I have two installs (different locations) and do one at a time every time just in case. I grabbed the upgrade file from the machine that had the previous version. I think that going forward I will start to back up these files before I upgrade, in case issues manifest after I have both machines on latest version.

Hi Neurobit,
I remember reading a message here which has the links of all previous versions. I just want to know how you rolled back? Did you have to uninstall and reinstall or just double click the previous version and had it installed?

I just double-clicked on the previous version. Worked same as when doing an upgrade. It stops services, downgrades, and you're back up.
