IOS Push Failure Alert Problem - iphone

Hi there

I am running 4.8.4.3 BI and our BI apps are 1.63.00

i just noticed that i am not getting any push alerts on either of the iphones connected to BI.

I have made sure they are checked in the setting and also unchecked and rechecked.

When i try and use the test push alert feature in each cameras setting i get "send to 0 devices"

in the log of BI it shows IOS push failure every time it trys to send a real alerts

i have rebooted BI and phones but still no luck

I have not changed anything in a while but im still not getting anything

Any ideas welcome?

I'm not an iPhone user, nor do I play one on TV and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night....but update BI to the latest revision, 4.8.4.6 and you should be good to go. There was a problem with push service to IOS for a few revisions but it has be fixed from what I've read.

Greyed out now so I guess I need to pay for annual surrport this time around?

Strange that the last version was running push ok (as I hadn’t be able to update in a while)

You can download the update from the BI site or from the "Downloads" thread here on IPCT. Like I said, I'm not an iPhone user/fan, just relaying what I've seen elsewhere here. Actually paying for support wouldn't be a bad idea but that's up to you.

So you can still manually download and update then?

I have two BI systems I manage and have 1 camera that is set up on each BI server.
Both systems are running 4.8.4.6, which is the version that fixed the earlier
push failure problem.

During last night there was motion on the common cam and I did not receive
a notification from either BI system to separate iPhones. Checking the logs it shows
iOS push failure-103 on both of the BI systems.
However since then it has been working fine without me doing anything.
So for now I’m going under the thought that you can’t fix something that works.
