Hallo to all members. Forgive me for my english, it is not my mother language.
Trying to find the correct source for upgrades (firmware, software, etc) on Hikvision, I see two websites.

Tools-Hikvision Europe
and
http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/

There are differences between those two, like different software / firmware releases.
For example SADP,
at the 1st site we have V3.0.1.7 with no release date,
and at the 2nd we have V3.0.1.4 with release date 22/3/2019 (18/3/2019 on release note).

Also when I look for the last firmware (after V5.4.5 build 170123) for DS-2CD2020FI,
at the 1st site we have DS-2CD20x0(F)-I(W) Baseline Firmware_IPC_ML_V5.4.5 170124 (2xx0)
and at the 2nd we have an extra V5.4.5_Build171114(Released)breathing issue
and also an V5.4.81_Build180203(Released)except mobile IPC.

Which one is the correct site to trust and if they are both belong to Hikvision why they have such differences?
Any ideas?

There is no one site to trust to the exclusion of all the others, of which there are many more not in your list.

There are big differences between the many sites presumably because there is no strong central control over style and content.
And some present the choices in a way that's clearer and with less chance of error than others.

Don't get too hung up about the differences.

Many more ? For Europe ?
Ohhh my.....

That is really a problem for the end user, especially when their product has to do with security and not for fun.
We don't all have the knowledge or the time to learn how to turn firmware at something that we can read and then spent even more time learning to understand what it is saying the "lines" we read.
And after all that, decide if the upgrade will solve or create more problems.

Someone with your knowledge could do that. Someone else may be can do that for fun, ok acceptable. But most of us can't.
That is why we have posts like....."which is the latest firmware for my DS-2CDxxxxFWDI...please help".
If a forum is doing a company's support job, then the company (Hik) must pay a salary to mempers like you, and also some of the forum cost, for doing that.

I have in my hands a "New" (Hik says so) model of 2021G2-IDW1 (WR) firmware V5.5.91 build 190129 . At least I see a new (for me) add of "Firmware Version Property" B-R-E3-0 at the basic information "sector", so someone can understand that he is looking for an E3 series firmware.
Came with a CD IVMS 4200 version V2.11.6.5 build 5/9/2018. I google the version and I find nothing!!!!

I really wonder how they behave to their official dealers!!!

Hikvision doesnt care about you as an end user. They dont want you buying their cameras.
Their dealers know where to download firmware.

I believe that, if they did not want people like me to buy their products, but only governments or airports or big companies, there would be no low cost products at their "series".
Anyway hikvisioneurope, Netherlands portal worked for me, and V5.4.81_Build180203 for DS-2CD20x0(F)-I(W), fixed the problem of "pulsing pixel" issue (I thing they call it breathing).
It was something like the I-frame problem, you were talking about in the past.

Off topic: Is there a thread about day pulsing brightness (image turn slightly lighter or darker and then return to normal, happening several times a minute) on Hiks? I cant find any.

You can believe anything you want, buy you are confused and ill informed with respect to this space. They want installers to purchase and install their products. Installers also need low cost options to offer customers on a budget. Nowhere did I say anything about governments, airports or big companies, why you would even mention that is beyond me. BTW, many governments will not purchase anything made by hik or dahua.

Yep, this is certainly correct in the UK...Hikvision do not want end users to buy their cameras. They withdrew some retailers permission to sell to end users. Hilook or Hiwatch cameras are now for end users to buy, which are cheaper versions of Hikvision cameras.

Hikvision cameras need to be bought through a third party supplier/installer here now. A lot of the Hik cams on eBay are now listed by installers...and you need to go through them to claim on a warranty etc.

OK understood how UK market works.
I was not speaking about e-buying (amazon, ebay, china), but from (and for) our local market.
