I am using integrated graphics by design so that Blue Iris can use quick sync. However whenever i change the camera to Intel or Intel+VPP my camera goes blank. all my other video related programs see and use quicksync. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

OS windows server 2016
CPU I7-8700
RAM 48 GB DDR4
latest version of Blue Iris

This will happen if you are using h.265 codec for your cams.

mine is running H.264 reolink 410 5mp
This could be due to the server os. Did you test any other cams? If you are running BI as a service, try disabling the service and restarting BI and test again.
You will have issues with reolink and blue iris when using direct to disk as there is no iframe interval in the firmware. Avoid reolink in the future.

Did not know that. So far direct to disk works well. i will try not running as a service. Strange thing is if i throw an nvidia card in then intel is available and works great, unfortunately nothing else will see the hardware acceleration then
