Hi, First of Thank you so much Andy for the great customer service and getting my order to me quickly as usual.

This camera in particular took couple of weeks but that is because I Pre-ordered before the launch date of this camera.

I just got this camera today and, Wow just like the other PTZ I have this is also built like a tank. Superb Quality in terms of materials. Feel very confident this should last me for a long time.

Here are some initial picture before I mount it. The mounting part might take me couple of weeks. Since I only get one day a week to work on this stuff like running wires because of my work.

I will get to it though. Once I have this mounted will post some video of both day and night. But for now I wanted to post picture of the actual product.

Nice looking camera, can you post a picture with it on a desk next to ? to see the visual size.

Thanks

Nearly same as SD59225U-HNI.

I dont have the 59 but I have the SD6CE245U-HNI also and I think it is pretty similar size to that and also the weight. However this new camera I got is 4mp and some Deep learning based auto tracking. Will see if it differs any from the other model I got which is SD6CE245U-HNI once setup :)

Cannot wait to see what this new one can do :)

Also to point out this camera does have a pretty deceiving lens from far. So it will be hard to tell whether it is pointing at them or no specially from a distance. :)

Wow sick camera man and congrats! Im literally drooling right now and super jealous. Once you install it can you please post video of it in action.
Looks like it has a built in microphone is that correct? Also can it work on just POE or does it also need an external power source as well.

@MakeItRain forget russian you can probably see Mars with this lol

Thank you ! Yes, It should work with POE+. I have the Netgear switch Model number GS752TPP. which I use to power all my cams and IR light and mics :)

As far as I know it does not have a built in Microphone, however with the other PTZ I Have which is the SD6CE245U-HNI from Andy Again.

Also does NOT have a microphone. With that said I use this Microseven M7WP microphone with that PTZ. I am guessing same microphone should work with this without an issue. :) You do need 12v power supply for those. Since I have the POE switch I do use this UCTRONICS Active PoE Splitter to power the microphone so I can do it with cat cable as well via separate line :)

Cant wait for the review and samples....
I will try my best next weekend to get this up and running :) But it is kind of hot will see how far I get with it. It will require me to run cable to 2nd story and then down to the camera and mounting :)

Can the SD6CE245U use the same mount as the SD49225T-HN? I may want to keep the old mount and not remove it and then stick the new SD6CE245U into it.
