With 2 out of 3 methods, I can reach my NVR.
My system:
- A non-poe NVR (NVR4216) w/ separate POE injectors to 4 cams.
- Everything seems to be working.
- Except, I can't reach the NVR with a browser. Nothing has changed on my network. I'm puzzled.
From my Lenovo & Toshiba laptops:
Can ping the NVR (on both laptops)
Smart PSS works with the NVR (on both laptops)
(therefore, ip Address & mask is proper).
Can NOT surf to NVR UI with Chrome, FireFox, Edge, or PaleMoon.
CAN surf to camera UI’s (on same subnet as NVR) with Chrome, FireFox, Edge & PaleMoon
The NVR's native UI works. All settings look okay, it seems.
Why can I ping the NVR, or use SmartPSS with the NVR, but using a browser generates an "Unable to connect" error.
Any ideas what I should look for?
TIA,
Fastb
