Are there any reputable sellers of Hikvision cameras on Amazon. I see many sellers and some are fulfilled by amazon. Fulfilled by amazon does that mean anything?

Fulfilled by amazon simply means that amazon ships it from their warehouse so you get fast shipping and easy returns...it will most likely still be a china camera...you are basically paying an extra 20 dollars or so for those benefits over simply buying from ali...

Why not buy from Aliexpress? I've had good luck so far. Then again, I had good luck with Amazon too. I ordered through Zoneway.
I would go with ebay myself it have the option, well protected, can clearly see feedback, can see prior sales, easy to communicate with seller. No price difference from Ali

I'm not concerned by the extra cost in this case about a $12.00 difference between CCTV Camera China and Amazon for a Hikvision DS-2CD2332-I camera. From Amazon you get it a few days vs weeks. Just trying to see if anyone had purchased from Amazon and had good or bad luck. I rather deal with Amazon than a company in China.

I have ordered a few from Aliexpress and a few more recently from Amazon.
I was looking for International region cameras, and was able to find them.
If you look for the DS-2CD3332-I you might find them. I was able to carefully find these shipped from US for about $135 a few months back. They were us version with UL stickers.
Unfortunately the way Amazon works, they want you to search by product, not vendor. Same for reviews, you get product reviews, not vendor reviews. If you search for a product, you have to pay attention to the vendor. Look for hints like brown box (China) vs red/white box (international).
If they ship from china, it will take 2 weeks, the same folks on Aliexpress are on Amazon, same product, with a higher price.

So I did both and it took just as long to get here. You know that when you buy from Amazon, unless you buy from a US seller, they come from China also, right? The camera from China via Amazon took 10 days and the camera from China via Aliexpress took 9 days.

They're based in New York and they're very respectable. If somehow you got any problem they will help you out, also they got some good technical support over there. They ship (from USA) the same day you make order so no problem for the cameras arriving in time.

Also Mr. Fenderman I would love to buy from member businesses but their shipping is to expensive. I buy from china and shipping is $8.00 I buy US and the shipping is $16.00.

Also from previous discussions it appears that you will be running in 1080p and the native 2mp camera will perform better in low light...I often buy from Ali...but the difference has to be more than 20 dollars to make the hassle of buying a china region camera worth it..

Remember! you will not get any warranty from Hikvision USA if you buy from Amazon. I bought 2 from Netview (Amazon), claimed come with 2 years warranty but Hikvision wont honor it event both camera are US retail version. You might want to get it from B&H photo since they are Hikvision authorized retailer store.

BandH sells the hikvision 2332 for 190...so you are basically paying 85 dollars for a warranty on a 100 dollar camera which is a bad deal...you do get US firmware, but you can get that via nellys or lts...

Bentley if you are in the US and want a warranty for a US based camera, then stop being cheap and quibbling over a $8 differential in shipping costs. Its going to cost you MUCH more than that to send a camera back to china for warranty.
