Has anyone gotten their hands on one yet? Is it a Hik rebrand as well? RTSP/ONVIF support?

The specs look promising otherwise. 3MP, 5GHz wifi, and I really like the included up/down/side tilt mounting plates.

RCA : Home Security : HSDB2A

Moderator edit: Please see this post for a great installation write-up

I got one, and I sent it Back. The EZVIZ is the RCA, but rebranded. Same circuit board, etc.
Pic attached

I got the Amcrest AD110 pic attached, to replace it. The picture quality is so much clearer. Both were in the HD at the time picture was taken.

the RCA is deffo not 3k, if it is the quality gets lost in the huge fisheye lens that lets it down.
Compare my number plate between the two, and you’ll see the difference in quality.

The Dahua (Amcrest) Doorbell is nice but I am a fan of the 180 fish eye view. I have to admit at first, and after installing a few Ring and Nest DBs for friends/family, I was not a fan of the fish eye, but I quickly changed this view being able to see the packages left and even being able to read package labels, this is what set this Doorbell aside from others. Oh and the 3MP at 30 FPS, RTSP Streaming, Instant notifications, ONVIF support, etc. Guess we are lucky we have a covered porch, that sun beaming into your DB is a killer. You may have to install a cover...like bullet cams have.

Batch Config Tool? Have you tried the iVMS-4200 software (I use the legacy version 2)? Also you may try EZVIZ PC Studio.

Does anyone have a link to a comparison between all of these cameras? I've been trying to follow this thread, and have had my eyes set on Nelly's version, but wasn't sure why everyone is using other brands.

If you upgrade to another vendor's firmware, you should reset config, otherwise there are a number of small problems like the one you mentioned. WDR works perfectly.

IIRC, someone opened the power kit and posted photos of the inside. Try to search the thread.

UPDATE; It's in the 101, last Q&A at the beginning, here you go: Opened Power Kit Photos
Yeah found that but could do with knowing what pin goes where.

Edit, and whilst your here, i do not have a chime so when i put the power kit in i wire it in series, then i basically put the sage wires to the same connections, sage in parallel to the power kit?

Cheers

is it just the 2 pins, can you get a close end shot.

Cheers
Of the plug or of the connector on the power kit? Tell me exactly what you need.

I had a replacement in warranty, and I sent them just the broken DB1 without accessories, they sent me back a brand new box with everything inside, so now I have spare parts for everything. :)

And end shot of the bit of wire you just had, so i can see the pins.

Did you see my pre edit.

Here's a closer picture of the plug, it's just 2 pins, and a closer pic of the connector on the power kit:

Here's the SAGE and how it is connected to doorbell without an internal chime (on my table for tests):

Thank you very much for your help, i think i can see how you wired it too.

Thanks again, for yours and everyone's help, forums can be priceless for information.
For the SAGE: just consider the SAGE sensor as the chime, and you can use the schemas published in 101. The only additional thing I did was to put the fuse in series of the positive power line. Then configure it as "electronic chime" in the app.

Yes, i had seen that info from 101 and a previous post of yours stating how you had done it, got my smartthings/sage working/talking, i just had a powerkit incident, also i did take me a while to get my stability problems sorted with the Sky router problems, but all good now, just this to sort then on to curl/soap maybe, would like to get the answer doorbell bit in the settings to work on a geofence, but we shall see, hopefully by the time i am up and runnig ok then someone will have sorted it lol

Are you writing about shutting off the answer doorbell bit by using curl / soap to trigger an on and off of the application running on your smart phone while concurrently doing Geofence?

Here utilize multiple hard wired sensors in home for occupation related automation events. (combo PIR/Microwave and 180 degree ceiling sensors).

The automobiles have long range RFID tags which trigger events while parked in garage or driveway. The tags do not drain the batteries in the automobiles.

I did this mostly because I shut off my phones while at home.

I do use GV to transfer all calls to the house phones plus the Panasonic phone system allows for two cellular phones to be connected via Bluetooth for voice and messaging.
Found out though that Google voice is not available outside of the US.
