New firmware 5.3.3

Only english language resourse in this firmware, that open like a window!!! ;)

I update by webpage with mtd hack, but lost multilanguage. I think I must update by tftp. The firmware was in other directory for 2492 but is label R0..
Any one test this version for R0 cameras ?

Are we sure that this firmware is for the DS-2CD2xx2 model cameras? I did just download and in stall it but then I realized I have controls in live view that I never had before & I also noticed you said this firmware was in another directory for 2492. Also does anyone no what changes where made from v5.3.0 to v5.3.3?

I've not kept up on the firmware since 5.2.0--are they still using the old NPAPI stuff that Chrome is about to forcibly expire in two months, thus making these cameras' video completely inaccessible to Chrome users?

LittleBrother, Good catch. I just tested v5.3.3 and I am happy to report that Chrome is no longer complaining:D I did also just try v5.3.0 and yes Chrome complained. Well that's one undocumented change. I only installed v5.3.3 on one of my 6 cams because I am still not sure if its meant for the DS-2CD2XX2 Models because the firmware was found under a different model.

Updates:

1. V5.3.3 build 150630 supports H.264+, Hikvision H.264+ algorithm enables lower bandwidth compared to H.264 while maintaining image quality.
2. Support 4 languages in Web Component: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese
3. Support intrusion detection and line crossing detection.
4. -Z models support motorized zoom.
5. All models except for DS-2CD2F12F-I(W)(S)Z support 120dB true WDR.

Notice:
H.264+ and Rotate are not supported simultaneously.

I can confirm that v5.3.3 on my WDR 4MP supports H.264+ and works with NVR on v3.3.4 which also support H.264+

Got no idea what "Rotate" is. But I have noticed that line crossing and intrusion detection is now available via the NVR which is nice :-)

I went to that site, and it made me create a l/p before i can download. I created an account, and I got an email to confirm the account. When I click on the link in the e-mail to confirm the account, it says the account does not exist. Is it because I have USA credentials?

How did you confirm the support of H264+ ?? Is there a menu option to select it optionally? Can you see any difference in the storage requirements per ... say an hour of recording?

The rotate fuction allows you to "rotate" the image viewed in a vertical (portrait) way so that more space can be viewed. Imagine a corridor. There is no usefull information on the walls, but there is more information along the corridor i.e. it is better to view the corridor in a portrait way rather than in a landscape mode, hence the rotate mode of the camera image.

Does anyone know if this new v5.3.3 firmware is for all the 2cd-2xx2 models? Another words will this firmware work on any camera that already has the v5.3.0 firmware on it? I did install this on one of my cameras a DS-2CD2032-I and it seems to be working OK however there are some extra options in live view that I never had before so I just want to make sure before I proceed with updating all my cameras.

I am sorry to report that Chrome is now complaining again about the plugin, When I first tested this after installing v5.3.3 everything was fine so I don't know what changed.
