Is it possible to overlay the camera name on the video image in the same way the date/fps/bitrate can be overlayed?

In Camera Properties / Video / Text and Graphic Overlays (where you selected the date and time overly) there is a box at the top that will overlay whatever you type in there. You would have to type in the name of the camera, it won't do it automatically. (Unless someone else knows of another trick!)

Wow... Makes perfect sense too. Sometimes you overlook the simplest things. Thanks!!!

How do you overlay fps/bitrate? What's the variable? I can't find any information on this.

From the help file:
Date and Time Formatting Codes
Blue Iris uses the following set of codes when formatting dates and times. Wherever it is appropriate to enter a date/time format string (such as when placing a text object over the captured image), you may embed these codes in any order you choose.
%a Abbreviated weekday name %A Full weekday name %b Abbreviated month name %B Full month name %c Date and time representation appropriate for locale %d Day of month as decimal number (01 – 31) %f Frames/second (FPS) for camera %H Hour in 24-hour format (00 – 23) %I Hour in 12-hour format (01 – 12) %j Day of year as decimal number (001 – 366) %k Kilobytes/second (kB/s) for camera %m Month as decimal number (01 – 12) %M Minute as decimal number (00 – 59) %p Current locale's A.M./P.M. indicator for 12-hour clock %S Second as decimal number (00 – 59) %t Milliseconds as decimal number (000 – 999) %U Week of year as decimal number, with Sunday as first day of week (00 – 53) %w Weekday as decimal number (0 – 6; Sunday is 0) %W Week of year as decimal number, with Monday as first day of week (00 – 53) %x Date representation for current locale %X Time representation for current locale %y Year without century, as decimal number (00 – 99) %Y Year with century, as decimal number %z, %Z Time-zone name or abbreviation; no characters if time zone is unknown %% Percent sign

frame rate = %f
bitrate = %k

for example on mine I have the following... "%f fps @ %k kBps"

From the help file under "Macros"

Camera-specific macros

There are a number of other formatting codes which are defined based on the camera context:

%f
The current FPS received from the camera
%k
The current bit rate in kBps received from the camera
%n
The most recent PTZ preset position sent to the camera
%P
The current profile number in effect for the camera
