So i have 2 cameras settled on position in my house and they are currently working with an SD cards and the phone app is very glitchy and i want to make my cameras use an NVR becouse there will be better app and more space for them to record but as i said i am not sure if it will work it says that it will work in the site that i provided bellow as a hyperlink but i am not very sure becouse that is a very random site that we found

NVR - HIKVISION DS-7104NI-Q1 (i will be using Seagate skyhawk surveillance 1TB becouse i would have 4 cameras max on this dvr)
my cameras (sorry for that its not on english its on bulgarian but you can use the in built google translate)

Specs for cameras state ONVIF 2.1 compatibility but there is no mention in NVR specs of ONVIF compatibility, so personally I would NOT take a chance on that NVR unless you can return it if it doesn't work with your cameras.

Best to stick with same brand between cams and NVR or at the very least, the cams and NVR both be ONVIF compatible.

I read that...it's your call, of course.

Best I can tell it's a 2MP, 3.6mm, non-POE, wired/wireless bullet camera. If you are purchasing new, you may want to consider a turret form factor vs. bullet. I also suggest going wired (not wireless) and use a POE-powered (802.3af) camera. I recommend that you contact @EMPIRETECANDY for options, pricing and delivery.

I dont want to buy New cameras they work perfectly fine the only problem is the Phone app that makes the problem and thats the reason i want to buy an nvr specificly becuse its i think the only way to change apps with a better one (i want an NVR becouse that what my cameras support they dont have a analog port for tv's i forgot how it was called)

OK, I understand now.
Unless someone on this forum has a specific recommendation for you about which NVR to purchase I would again, contact @EMPIRETECANDY .

But keep this in mind....you may want more and better cameras and capability in the future...don't let those 2 no-name, cheap bullet cameras determine your future hardware, especially the NVR.

BTW, an analog video output from a older DVR, video game or analog camera is known as "composite" video or "CVS" and uses a RCA connector; many analog cams and DVR's also use BNC connectors for the analog (composite/CVS) signal.

Welcome @Lame_GamingBG

Looks like the cameras support ONVIF 2.0 .. so good news on that.

You can try Hikvision, or Dahua's OEM vms software on a PC and see how well it works.

Here is a link to the Hikvision software ..
iVMS-4200

Here is a link to the Dahua software .. SmartPSS

If you have a PC I'd give those a try ..

Let us know what you end up going with ..
