Nope, the country has been drifting to the political right for a long time now. Try asking a student of Political History (not something quoted from "Social Media").
State your position on a subject of your choosing, we'll compare... But tomorrow, gotta eat.

While I prefer not to look at it as a simple 2-dimensional line .. I do think Elon Musk has some good valid points for this view:

For me, I would state that the society, world in general has become more authoritarian ..

You have to be kidding. You think Hunter's laptop is nothing but Russian propaganda, and that the Russians helped get Trump elected in 2016. Now you want to limit the sources of my material. Your mind is just to far gone for any meaningful discussion. I bet that you think the Trump/Russia collusion was for real.

HI @Michael Diehl

So I know the messenger Ben Shapiro probably would not be consider left of center, yet all what he points out is 100% accurate judging for the facts and data I have seen ..

This is perhaps the best illustration for many of us that the left has moved more .. these policies will impact the Blue Collar significantly ..

Ben Shapiro

Declare that oil must end, then take policies to implement that result.
Oil prices skyrocket.
Act shocked, blame others.
Repeat.
If you think this is a good strategy, keep voting Democrat.

Guess I won't be retiring. :(
Exactly. I was a little late putting on the breaks, but did, into a Money Market within my plan for now. I'm embarrassed to say how much lost. I thought the Great Recession was bad. But little joe is a master of economic disaster. With this guy in charge, I'm going to keep a better eye on things now. Just never expected this big of a crash.

This one graph is deceptive. We need to remember all the money in our pockets at the end of the week during Trump that we could throw into investing. With Biden the market might have risen but the average American citizen was majorly cash poor this whole time of this guy squatting in the White House.

WH Press Secretary Confirms Biden Is Still Committed to Ending Fossil Fuels As Gas Prices Soar

As gas prices soar across the country, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insists that President Joe Biden is committed to transitioning away from fossil fuels.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked why Biden is not trying to get domestic companies to drill for more oil in the U.S.

Jean-Pierre noted that the country is still seeing its “highest levels of domestic production,” but part of the higher prices is a result of decreased refinery capacity in the country.

Still, Doocy asked, “Why not drill more here in the U.S., though?”

“We don’t need to do that. What we need them to do is, with the oil that’s out there, we need them to refine that oil so that the capacity can go up, and then prices would go down,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Doocy also asked on Thursday, “I know the President once said that he was going to end fossil fuels. Is that now off the table?”

“No, we are going to continue to move forward with our clean-energy proposal, our climate change proposal,” the press secretary responded.

So much for the little guy who owns a business with small trucks needing to run all over town all day.

So just kill the little guy without having a viable option in place. We don’t have electric trucks and vans, and if we did, many small business service industry owners would still need a way to charge them EVERY single day, if not multiple times a day. Most business owners who depend on trucks and vans needed to run all over town every day, and most park them outside a garage and away from a power source over night. Brilliant thinkers squatting in the White House. AGAIN...No electric trucks and vans and the charging infrastructure needed to support these imaginary vehicles.

Oh yeah, and not to mention the cost needed for a small business to buy said imaginary vehicles. Brilliant I tell ya.
