Configuring NVR (Hikvision) with PoE cameras for a dedicated VLAN

Hi Everyone,
Please advice if the following will be correct and sufficient.
My existing NVR (Hikvision) has:
  • static IP: a.b.1.10, disabled DHCP (IP is reserved on router),
  • default gateway: a.b.1.1
  • six plug'n'play IP cameras connected to NVR;
  • the cameras are managed by the NVR and powered from it (PoE) - each camera is assigned with its IP from the pull of internal NIC IPv4 addresses (a.b.254.1, a.b.254.2, a.b.254.3 ...etc.).
All is working.
Now I want to 'relocate'/reconfigure the NVR including its cameras to a newly created VLAN - host address a.b.50.1.
To 'relocate' the NVR to the new VLAN I'll tag its network switch port with that VLAN.
Please advice if it will be sufficient (before tagging the respective switch port):
  • to change the NVR's IP to, let's say - a.b.50.10 (of course - by reserving it to be the NVR's static one),
  • change default gateway to a.b.50.1,
  • ensuring, through the camera's Virtual Host, one-by-one, that each camera's IP is unchanged (since the Internal NIC IPv4 Address remains unchanged).
And what would be the best sequence to proceed?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Provided that the VLAN you create will still allow access to the NVR from the (presumed) PC that you are using to manage the NVR, I'd suggest:
Change the NVR IP configuration as you've described above.
You will then lose access, temporarily.
Tag the NVR switch port with the target VLAN.
Access should then be regained.

Thank you very much, alastairstevenson,
Appreciate your quick and encouraging response!
My network firewall/traffic rules allow any machine on the a.b.1.1 access/manage the new VLAN (not vice-versa, of course), so I expect to be able to open the NVR's interface after the changes.
As a backup plan, should something won't go as expected and I will need to reverse the changes, aside from the NVR's and gateway IP's changes, do you think that all other parameters, for the cameras particularly, will stay the same? - Maybe, for my record, to take a few snapshots of the current configurations? My biggest concern, of course, is to loose access to the cameras in a 'mystery way' the NVR will take on its own - the way it configured and handled those plug'n'play cameras from the day one.

I would not expect the camera network and other configurations to change when the NVR LAN IP configuration is changed, when the cameras are connected to the NVR PoE ports.
