Hi Everyone,
Please advice if the following will be correct and sufficient.
My existing NVR (Hikvision) has:
Now I want to 'relocate'/reconfigure the NVR including its cameras to a newly created VLAN - host address a.b.50.1.
To 'relocate' the NVR to the new VLAN I'll tag its network switch port with that VLAN.
Please advice if it will be sufficient (before tagging the respective switch port):
Thanks a lot in advance!
Please advice if the following will be correct and sufficient.
My existing NVR (Hikvision) has:
- static IP: a.b.1.10, disabled DHCP (IP is reserved on router),
- default gateway: a.b.1.1
- six plug'n'play IP cameras connected to NVR;
- the cameras are managed by the NVR and powered from it (PoE) - each camera is assigned with its IP from the pull of internal NIC IPv4 addresses (a.b.254.1, a.b.254.2, a.b.254.3 ...etc.).
- to change the NVR's IP to, let's say - a.b.50.10 (of course - by reserving it to be the NVR's static one),
- change default gateway to a.b.50.1,
- ensuring, through the camera's Virtual Host, one-by-one, that each camera's IP is unchanged (since the Internal NIC IPv4 Address remains unchanged).
Thanks a lot in advance!
