The official "WTF" thread

That is in PA.
I could tell that from the police shield. And that provoked me wondering why would any sane U.S. government want to imitate or emulate any @#$% thing they see in the UK, Europe or Canada! For me, it's like run the other way and as fast as you can! Those people are sinking FAST!

I thought it was satire and went to the FB page and it is quite real. The comments are the best!

When in Rome ..

This is what I've been having to bag up lately. These rabbits picked the wrong yard to have babies! I think my dogs thought they were a play toy.
Well tonight our dog brought home a baby rabbit. It was covered in her slobber but after cleaning it up we ended up releasing it back to where our dog found it. The rabbit was ok and seemed calm. We found a hole by a plant so we think it was it's nest. No others there though. My wife actually saw our dog come from that wooded area by our drive. So we decided to let our dog out and watch it, sure enough it went to that area so we knew to look there.

From what I read about wild rabbits, they don't do good being captive, also many die in rehab, from what I read. Only good thing here is it seems to, Hopefully, be old enough to survive on it's own. It was close to 5 inches long, had all it's fur and eyes were wide open and ears stood up, also the wife saw it hop. Reading, the mother leaves the babies in the nest and only comes back at dust and dawn to feed them. Mother kinda stays away from the nest not to bring her scent near since the babies don't have a scent that predators can pick up on plus the babies are real good at staying still and silent from what I read.

The wife and I are hoping this Easter Buddy makes it...we will check in the morning.

We hope to see you Peter :) in the future, if you notice Peter has a small strip of white hair on top of his head so we should be able to identify him from all the other rabbits that like to hang around our area...

Brings back memories!

Circa 1957, back when your insurance person would make house calls, our insurance lady, a sweet first generation German immigrant with a thick accent, came with 2 baby cottontails that her collie had brought back to her house, much like your dog did.

Their eyes were still shut, not weaned so we fed warm milk with an eyedropper and tried our best but they did not survive overnight. I recall being very sad at 8 years old....they were so cute.

Oh, I think I see the REAL problem here....Australia wants drivers to cook with environment-friendly electricity, not harmful propane.
