The official "WTF" thread

Check this out. I didn't know they planned on a LARGER battleship than the Iowa class. Everything was ready to go to start building Montana class ships, but partway through WWII, they decided to prioritize aircraft carriers and sub hunters instead. I kinda wish they would have made just One of these...

I get that it's mostly cinder block and tile so long term damage will be minimal but still....seems too much like "scorching the walls so they won't burn" kind of approach.

Have you ever cleaned up after a flood. The Mud sticks to everything not mention the depth of the mud depending how fast the water was running can horrendous to clean up.
And it travels up the sheetrock via osmosis like a sponge.....

Southern Red Clay...

Just saw this concert video. Ann Wilson of Heart (who turns 75 in June) is singing from a wheelchair. I guess she has cancer, is going through chemo, and broke her elbow somehow. Oh-- and is still on tour. Pretty amazing...

Damn.......right there is the collective definition of sheer talent mixed with grit, determination and resolve.

I will always remember her clear, steady, piercing vibrato that gave me chills every time I heard it....the woman could definitely sing. Hell, she could have sung the phone book and I would have loved it.

God bless her.

It appears the female bass player toward the beginning is having a hard time keeping it together, which I can ceratinly understand.

No wonder the medical community is loosing its credibility hour by hour
I know this is an old post, but, as far as I'm concerned, the medical industry took a nose-dive right around the time COVID happened. We got to see just how corrupt many of institutions and staff had become. Back-handed payouts from behind-the-scenes characters and government agencies to keep a narrative and agenda afloat. It's sickening.

It was a very sad/bad time. Workers witnessing the mishandling of patients, staying silent, trying to keep their jobs. Doctors following CDC as if it were their god. Hospitals selling out to listing everything they could as Covid-19 for profit. The Unelected leaders ran our country, dictating all the rules...while million people died in the hands of all of this...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Even with all we know now, the industry isn't getting any better. Its as corrupt as it was during COVID, except they are doing a little better job of hiding things. The fallout continues and we continue to pay for it.
