    the poor security must be on the cameras, they are allowing the stream to show on nvr without inputting of correct passwords. the cameras on system include hikvision, dahua etc.

    The nvr is veezoom - cameras are all different makes - i would have thought it be something on the cameras that is allowing connection??? the nvr is poe and all cameras are poe, but are connected using separate poe switches for now.

    thanks for your quick reply, i see what you mean, i had same results as you with ispy software (could get picture stream but no ptz control). the only way i can get ptz to work is with device software that came with camera. have you got the rpi set up as a hand held device?

    Hi Herry, I also have this camera and wish to use with Blueiris - have you managed to get it Working? I am no expert but noticed your url above. could you tell me if this can be used to connect the camera with Blueiris? and if so could you tell me how t utilise url thanks in advance.

    Appreciate your advice Lebeter and will take all on-board - is there a way to disable time stamp globally or for individual cameras in blue iris? I presently have only 1 camera with 2 date/time stamps showing, for BI and for the camera as well.
