Yea, I really don't want to have to remove it, lol. I really don't. I was thinking about swapping it out and then playing with it and see if it's still alive or on it's way out. It's only 2 years old ish. Open to any other ideas! :)

I've got a few big racoons that walk around at night, luckily I haven't run into them. It's pitch black outside and I am outside at night a good bit. Never know what you'll run into lol

I played with that when I made this original thread and it didn't help. I emailed Blue Iris maker and he said it didn't do what I was explaining I needed. I can't remember what he said exactly. Unless something has changed since then?

I use a Mobius action camera, it's great, has a wide angle, clear and reads license plates from a good distance. I don't have the capacitor mod, just a regular mobius powered through cig lighter.

I love the Fing app on my Android, I had updated to the new version awhile back and I hated it. It was different, so I went back to the older version. It's great though!

I didn't, I just live with it. It's only on certain days when it's windy and moves the clouds with the sun coming in and out. It works AMAZING and PERFECT on any days but that. I can't complain, best motion detection I've ever seen. I wish there was a way to ignore the sudden full screen motion...

Dahua 4MP, power kicked one day and now the camera does not show up on NVR. Can ping the IP and get a response but Dahua webpage login won't load. It doesn't even show up in the ONVIF program scan for that IP at all. I had this happen with this same camera before, but it reverted to the stock...

Any of you know if the DH-IPC-HDW4431C-A camera uses the same lens as the 4300C? camera? I swapped my 2.8mm lens in my 4300C to a 2.1mm and it is so much wider, it's amazing, it's not distorted any more than the 2.8mm and no black edges, or corners. I'd like to swap the lens in the new 4431C...
