Hi Fam, Been only using blueiris so this is a quick dumb question please? If the NVR has a feature of face detection but the camera don't have this feature, does it still work? Or does it needs to be both NVR and camera? Thank you, -Boots

Hi all, Just wanting some input as this is my first time using dahua systems instead of blue iris on a large scale project, We are looking at about a building that exceeds 64 cameras so I have a look and the Dahua IVSS7108-2M looks promising but I haven't really seen any reviews or setup...

I am about to setup 48 cameras all 4 MP's, setup will be motion detection, Scenario would be kind of crowded during the day as it is a public area so it will be recording heavily during the day Company wants 3 months of footage, I got 13 4TB HDD so this is aprox. 50 TB, Thinking on what to do...

@pov2 I already did that, tried and set each camera individually to nvidia NVDEC but no change at all, I am waiting for a response from support as of now.

Reverting back to BI4 until this problem is address, :( Was really excited about the BI5

Here's a screenshot on BI4 And here it is on BI5 Does it has something to do with BI4 using CUDA and BI5 using NVdEC?

Anyone also experiencing this, I lost my hardware accelaration when I upgraded to BI5 I have an ASUS PH-GTX1050TI-4G graphics card. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling BI5 and also graphics card driver but just the same. -Blu

Now that might be a glitch, I update straight from BI4 and that video icon next to settings seems to be not functioning well. I have to uninstall it and install BI5 again, it is working now, thank you kindly for the response. Cheers! -Blu

Hi All, can I remove this window on the GUI please? I've tried but seems to be no option and it's kind of annoying, I wanted my screen to just have the cameras noting else, same as what it does on BI4 Thank you in advance
