I have the same Dahua NVR and I can confirm the issue. I noticed it after I upgraded to firmware version V4.001.0000006.1, Build Date: 2021-07-09. Fortunately, I reboot very infrequently so it's just a minor annoyance.

For whatever reason there is definitely not any type of Global IVS setup or calibration option for this camera. This is a TiOC 2.0 camera so I assume it is "Improved" and calibration is no longer needed? Obviously, that could be a very bad assumption! See the attached Internet Explorer...

Thanks for the suggestion but there is no Global Config option for this camera. I'll try increasing the Contrast. Unfortunately, there's an infinite number of combinations that can be tried with the various settings. I just don't know if changing them has any effect on the Human detection...

No, the last time I upgraded the cameras was over a year ago. I wonder if anyone can confirm whether the newest version supports Loitering Detection. I can try it myself the next time I get to the lot - maybe I'll get lucky.

The models are IPC-HFW5231R-ZE and IPC-HFW5231E-Z5E. To the best of my knowledge they don't support Loitering Detection.
