That is an interesting idea. I might be able to pull that off so to speak. Will still be scanning an area covered by the flood light but could cover more area that way. If you know any links to some one doing that, it would help if not I can search.
Then share your wisdom on how I can do it better? No damage to new 30K siding, no other mount points to be found on that side other than the soffits on the second story, that you already stated is too high?
Is it better to have a less functional camera, than no camera? Sorry I do not want to...
Thanks, height is no an issue, it is about head height where it is. Why this is a great place, and it backs to the garage where my network gear is. So the run would share very little space with power for interference. I guess I could suck it up and try the Eufy flood/camera but it is wifi and...
Do they make any adapter or such to allow having a flood light mounted and a separate camera over or under it? I have new siding and do not want to cut or drill but have a flood light setup already. Be nice if I could mount a camera off that location sharing with the light.
So in trying to keep my office clean I threw the box away with the coupler for my camera. Now that the exterior work is done I am starting to look about mounting but can't do that with out the coupler. Anyone know where to get another for a reasonable price? One that will of course match the...
To be clear, flash is baked into Chrome BUT is going away end of year. So if it requires flash and that is why it works in Chrome expect that to go away end of the year.
I am becoming a fan myself of Docker images. So much like a VM lite. Allows me to run somethings on my Arch Linux server that before required AUR packages that were problematic or a full VM. I might tinker with the Docker that someone made for BI, but I am concerned about proper access in and...
Foscam FI9803P, I have ran it wireless and wired to see if that helps and no change. I have tried the generic RTSP, the Foscam C1 RTSP, and Foscam FI9802/3/4... V2 and the same.
On the latest version, demoing and trying to decide if I should buy it. I set it to re-encode, and still issues. I am using rtsp for streaming. Not sure how to switch it to do snapshot, tried but the URLs that work in a web browser are not working in BI. I tried iSpy and had freezes in it as...
I am running out of ideas from my searches and it might just be BI does not like Foscam. The camera runs perfect in Zoneminder. No freezing what so ever and smooth video. But in BI it will freeze, miss many frames. For example I can watch the clock in live view and have it stop counting them...
What about if I set it to alert and motion capture say 8-5pm under 1 profile, but under another turn them off and select all hours? Will the all over ride the 8-5? Or do I need only one profile per time period?
