    I cannot get smtp to work to send emails. I know how to do this very well, as I have a Linux server setup and the emails work fine. However, the same settings do not work on the nvr. After fixing the smtp issue, I can then test push notifications to my phone, which is not currently working...

    you can simply download the uk firmware and flash it. as long as it not the chinese version. i do that all the time.
