Sure - that's my backup plan. It's a bit more work to do that, but I'd run it back to my PoE switch if I need to go that route. I was just hoping there was some clever way to take advantage of the existing 110V power / box to power the camera (and then use WiFi for the network connection).

Here are pics: While I could theoretically replace it with a larger box, that would practically be more work than just running Cat6 up in the corner above the door there (which you can see in the pic) ... so if there's no clever way to get power out of that box in a relatively low-key way...

FYI in case anyone is looking later - after re-installing with the standard Microsoft Win10 Pro distro and running as a service the BI installation has been rock-solid.

Checked back in about 6 hours after restarting, and it looks like BI has gone from ~6GB to about 16GB memory utilization. Seems like a memory leak. Is this a known issue? Worth maybe rolling back to a more stable version? Any suggestions? Thanks....

Hi- New BI user here (version 4.5.7.4). I've installed it on a brand new (refurb) Dell Optiplex 7040 Win10 Pro (i7-6700, 16GB, 256GB SSD). Currently I'm just using some space on the SSD drive for video storage (direct to disk), but eventually plan on adding a purple drive in for clip storage...

Got it. So if I cloned the camera, then I would basically have both the continuous recordings *and* the clips stored for the first "N" days, and then the continuous recordings would be deleted, leaving just the motion clips. That might be a reasonable workaround. Does cloning a camera cause...
