Hi, I have been slowly working through the painful process of finding the validation code for my 2142. I have both a 2142 and a 2132 and neither have an activation code on their boxes nor does the ABCDEF code work. both purchased from Amazon direct (not a 3rd party) so no hidden code...

It is the validation code for pairing device to Ezviz I am seeking not the install password to activate camera. I will however have ago at entering all of above as have nothing to loose. I feel phone call to Hikvision coming on. Thanks sknyc.

Right, I am now showing as 'online' in the Hikvision configuration screens of my IPCs (wrong IPv4 default gateway loaded), and Ezviz can see the cameras but the boxes have no verification codes on them and ABCDEF is not working either. I have tried using iVMS-4500 and it goes through the same...

Just sorted :) I found that my IPv4 Default Gateway was incorrect. Could have sworn it was right but a check on PC found otherwise. All works well and I hope this may help others. Thanks.

Thanks bp2008, I do not know about others but I already have the "Allow less secure apps" turned on. I can see Synology Mail Notification within the apps connected to account but not Hikvision :(
