    So If I plug the camera to the router then the NVR can see it. If I try to add the camera to the NVR, I would get the red X.

    I plug the camera to the NVR. So that is why you are only seeing 3 cameras connected. The NVR is able to find other wifi Amcrest but the new one POE I bought.

    My home ip is 192.168.x.x. and the NVR is 10.1.x.x. If I I plug in the amcrest camera, how do I know which IP that the NVR assign to? Thanks

    Do I need to add the camera via the NVR interface? I try to add it via the web gui. Maybe that is why it did not pick up?

    Hi, I just bought the Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-28mm from Amazon. I think the camera is ONVIF compatible with the NVR but the NVR won't pick up the camera. I have checked the setting on the camera. I tested it with ONVIF enable and with disable but the NVR won't pick up. Is it possible to connect...

    Before flashing my 4 cameras to the dahua firmware. I am able to view the cameras with the gdmss app with TMO data but now i can not view it if I'm only TMO data. I can view it if I'm connected to wifi. Is there a setting in the gdmss app to let me view with data instead of wifi? Thanks

    I am finally got all 4 cameras updated. Thank you all for your help. On to the NVR. Is it best just to copy the 3.26 and 4.00 firmware onto an usb flash drive then connect it to the NVR and do the firmware update? Thanks

    Well, my first camera. I did it via the TFTP method. So I am trying to duplicate the same method but got the time out in the screencap. I did tried to flash via the web gui but it does not work.

    Do you know how long is it to flash the firmware? Once it is completed, is it going to stop the script by itself?
