Question regarding NVR

Any $30 cheap Chinese camera 4MP or greater can look great in daytime, esp without motion.

Nighttime is the difference

Ok, understand now. I guess it depends on the application and the user. For me, I would want to use a separate POE switch, as I believe both the NVR and PC running BI would have the same access, yes, or no?
I run an NVR and BI in parallel. All the cameras connect to the POE switch, the NVR connects to the POE switch, and the BI machine connects to the POE switch. The NVR and BI system are totally independent of each other.

IF I were to ever entertain the PC with BI option, this is how I would run the operation as well

Ive looked at some Reolink reviews and the daytime quality looks really good. Can i add reolinks to BI for daytime quality?

@firebird42

Do take a moment to see the various Reolink thread discussions here before making a purchase blindly on Reolink cameras.

In general, many members prefer better results than Reolink can provide, especially with regards to Blue Iris and iFrame compatibility and low light performance issues with Reolink cameras.
( also remember some Reolink models are not standards compatible, I do not remember the exact model numbers, but do make certain before you buy .. RTSP ONVIF et al )
