How to view Dahua cameras without browser plugins

Maddeningly , both waterfox and firefox act the same.. extremely glitchy on the web interface and will not consistently let me draw lines on the camera image. I tried SmartPSS , but cannot figure out for the life of me how to get to draw the IVS lines.. there's only this mystery IVS Rule...

How to enable Native Internet Explorer in Windows 11 to access your IP cams.

No matter what I tried, no form of IE (via command line, Edge, Firefox, IE itself, etc...) will work for me. I ended up installing the iVMS software in order to manage the Hikvision cameras that require IE. Unfortunately, iVMS has some serious issues, and is very frustrating to use. But if...

"Almost any camera can do well in the daytime"? The IPC-Color4K-T sure can't....

I was going to ask how the raw footage from the camera looked without using BI, but I guess that hasn't been working on your browsers. My gut feeling is that this is a BI issue and not a camera issue, but seeing the live image is really the only way to confirm or debunk this theory. You could...

"Almost any camera can do well in the daytime"? The IPC-Color4K-T sure can't....

...same quality as the old one or if it would have the same limitations as this color 4K. Yep, for some reason neither chrome nor Edge/IE show the live view in the web interface so I haven't been able to play with ROI yet. I downloaded Firefox and the web interface works, so I'll try ROI tomorrow.

...might load after several minutes, and you might even be able to login, but managing the camera is difficult at best. I've tried Chrome, FireFox, and Edge. I've tried from Windows, and from Android, but nothing makes it better. The odd part is that locally, the camera is fine. If I...

Update: How can I connect to the camera's settings when going to the IP (in Firefox browser, https and port 80) does not connect? (My browser auto changes http to https. I tried Chrome with http, but it doesnt connect to cam either.) I connected lost cam's Ethernet cord to a different switch...

How to remove web pop out ?

I saw that happen once, cant recall which browser I was using, but I can tell you Firefox will not be your friend on Dahua gear. I use it also, but for Dahua I use IE/Edge in IE mode/Pale Moon32

How to remove web pop out ?

...in legacy mode, it tries to be a pain when launching, but it is working OK. I just want to get rid of that pop out crap that I let get enabled in Fire fox. otherwise, with this newer G.U.I. Firefox is working great. Firefox is my main browser, I want as little of M.S. in my computer as possible.

How to remove web pop out ?

...:), and the first time I opened up fire fox to configure it, I mistakenly let a web pop out plug in be installed. now every time I view it in Firefox a pop out view of my cam image shows up floating on the screen, but I can't move it, and it is hiding functions I need to adjust. I do not see...

    Some idiot keeps adding cameras...

Ok, I got it the other day. It is what it says it is. I simply ran it for a day using UI3 in Firefox with no issues. Yesterday I set up BI on it, made the necessary changes, transferred the key and let it rip. I set it up exactly the way the old computer was running it (and the extras). Task...

Problem installing IPC-T54IR-ZE -- Default Port & IP?

...camera's dress :.108, (192.168.1.2 for example) In Unbuntu its best to use Angry IP scanner if its not 192.168.1.108, but you should get the firefox browser to go to login page at either port 80 (192.168.1.108) or port 3777 (192.168.1.108:3777) Some routers will block traffic not in its...

    Blue Iris UI3

Well if you used an HTTPS reverse proxy server (such as nginx or stunnel or a cloudflare tunnel) then you could try the "WebCodecs" player. My "todo" list for UI3 has been growing, but I have been busy with other things. This will get tweaked eventually :)

Have you given any further consideration to workarounds for this issue? I've tried the suggestion to use Firefox on mobile devices (it's already my preferred browser in a desktop), and although it initially looked promising, the error message did eventually show up there as well. If I switch to...

Site ads making site unusable on mobile Safari

Well...what's the plan, guys? Been using Brave for over 3 years now (I think) and have had excellent results as far as ads go....once in a while it will stumble and hang on the Home Depot site and I have to use Firefox on HD. Weird....:wtf:

    Blue Iris UI3

Yeah, this problem was so bad on Chrome that I actually tried Firefox...and seems to work fine using that browser, so possible they are doing something with Chrome on the newer versions. I would also like a solution so I don't have 2 browsers installed on my phone. Wow, been a while since I...

IP address moved to new Web address?

Presumably using Chrome browser, or maybe Firefox? Blocked as an ERR_UNSAFE_PORT edit as per the screenshot on your first post. Allow per-site insecure content in Site Settings under Privacy & Security. Or click the settings button to the left of the URL when attempting access.

    Odd behaviour on IPCAMTALK.COM

The ads are probably the issue. I can see things normally until ads load. Firefox Focus on android cuts out ads by default and it shows ipcamtalk.com just fine. The ads that seem to cause it are wide ads that cannot be resized by the browser leaving only enough room for one letter like you...
