    I wish I were more IT savvy. Although I’ve been using a home computer since ~1999, setting camera, computer and modem/router IP at the same session is new. Thanks for the attention.

    Since the Default Gateway (modem) is showing IPv6, I decided to log into the modem. It appears that the Device IPv4 Address .254 is outside the DHCPv4’s range of .253. Could this cause the modem to switch to an IPv6 address? Should I change the Device IPv4 Address to .222?

    I changed the .254 to .250 via Windows 10, restarted everything and still camera won’t connect. I couldn’t find “static” vs DHCP in my AT&T fiber router.

    So my camera is permanently mounted on an 8’ 4x4 and now I’m trying to make my way around Blue Iris. What screen do I need to be on to set IR trigger? It’s only taking daytime vids.

    IP5M-T1179EW-36MM GS305P On my POE switch I get an amber LED (POE fault) and my camera is warm to the touch. My camera is attached to the switch and the switch is connected to the router. My W10 with Blue Iris is also connected to the router. Did I miss something?
