Yes, it works, just choose the Dahua New profile. But its rumored it exist a firmware with the webui included on this camera so its no need with the web app - anyone got this? I have a35 too, and that I can run completely local, while the A46 is "app only" -

I ordered an HP Elitedesk Intel i5 3,2GHz due to suggestions here and now running BI on it as a standalone machine, though I see Blue Iris supports cuda. I have an ASUS GeForce GT 630 2GB Silent PhysX and an ASUS Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3 Silent - will any of those cards be a benefit for BI? -
TP Link NC450 v2 PTZ and general PTZ issues
Firstly, for not making two posts. I have one NC450 that has been connected with BI for a long time, but not (even with the NC450 PTZ profile selected) it wont do PTZ, streaming works fine. For what its worth the dev did say he will be using the latest build tools. This would be possible to port it via mono and run directly or docker. It already exist a docker version running mono in linux, but its impossible to say anything about performance unless you know a lot about how to...- alekslyse

Okay, found a elitedesk with 6500 cpu, 8gb ram and ssd on a local sales page here, so sent a bid at 150usd. Hopefully it will be a better solution that the laptop :)- alekslyse

Yes, that point I dont disagree with out, and that would be the goal. The situation now though is I have those two options to work without having to buy anything new (they are just staying there) - might not be ideal but one of them surely have to be a better solution than the other one?- alekslyse

Not that I tried, but intel lan supports multiple vlans on one ethernet port. I run all my cameras in a locked down vlan and running two vlan on the nuc as its builtin to the software. That way the only entry point to the surveilance is through BI- alekslyse

I have no problem with that. I’m of course curious what v5 will bring, but I would say v5 or not it’s good to support active development as bi is. I’m not disagreeing with you- alekslyse

Yes of course I tried to do what is suggested in here like direct to disc, 10-15fps and so on. From what I understood having over 10 fps is no point anyway? The cameras is all 1080 with 264 compression of type HDW5231R-Z I dont really have any problems with using the webui unless more than 2...- alekslyse

im currently running bi on a i3 nuc with 16gb ram and m2 ssd with 10 cams and its idle around 5-10% cpu. Though I have a msi laptop here with an i7 3610QM, nvidia gpu, 16gb ram and ssd. Is it worth using the laptop instead of the nuc? Not really had performance problems, but the i7 sounds on...- alekslyse
