Too lazy to research, need starlight cam advice

I hate to start a new thread so I'll put it here. Andy got my cam to me in 2 days???!!! WOW. It is an unbranded SD1A203T-GN. I got it set up with BI but the PTZ is not controllable except through the web interface. I have tried switching all kinds of things around with no luck. Any suggestions...

Too lazy to research, need starlight cam advice

So what is this camera about? I just looked on amazon from an old post, it looks like a PTZ starlight to me. Like I said, it's confusing. https://www.amazon.com/SD49225T-HN-1920x1080-Starlight-Network-4-8mm-120mm/dp/B071NNG1XC

Too lazy to research, need starlight cam advice

Hi, I tried looking around but just got confused with all the choices and technology changes. Can any one recommend a starlight cam with PTZ auto focus, POE? I have a non PTZ turret in this location already but would like to add one that allows me to look around and better night vision. My...

    Which Bullet to buy?

Yes, I have a POE in my house. That's why I need to replace it. The POE quit working when the roofers smacked it or something (it was pointed down when I noticed it). I took the cam down and bench tested with a new CAT6, it will only work when plugged into 12v. Since it still works, I'll just...

    Which Bullet to buy?

You know, that may be the answer. This cam has been OK for my needs and definitely in my budget. I think I'll get the black one. Thanks

    Which Bullet to buy?

Tony, since you use these Amcrests, can I ask where the reset wires are? The manual says the green and white wires but I can't find them. I was thinking about getting one of these since it still works with 12vdc...

    Which Bullet to buy?

I don't remember why I went with the bullet for this location. Maybe it was to get the cam slightly out from under the eaves. Maybe it was what was on sale.

    Which Bullet to buy?

Hi, I'm too lazy or stupid to try and figure out which IP cam to buy. Roofers took out my cheap Amcrest IP2M-842E POE capability so I need a replacement. I almost bought a Dahua IPC-HFW4431R-Z, luckily I realized it was 2 year old technology and international before I ordered. Anyway, does...

I know in a perfect world I should have a dedicated server but I don't.

    Start up permission

Hi, I know this is old but I wanted my computer to go to a guest account when booting with no password and load BI tools and BI without asking for permissions. Is this possible? I don't really want my PC going to my admin account without a password and me not being here in case of reboot. Thanks

Someone said "you're not making a movie". That's when I started running at 2 fps. I still capture what I need and my system doesn't get bogged down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wonder why he didn't get feedback? Unless he had a separate audio recording device.

    Use Laptop Cam On BI?

All I know is it worked on my Surface 3 being used as a server. I run 2 fps so the CPU load isn't too bad.

    Use Laptop Cam On BI?

It just occurred to me that it would be cool if I could use my forward facing laptop cam with BI. I have a hidden SSD so if someone did break in and take my server, it would get them on cam.....just a thought.

    Suspicious dude jogs through yards

Just above his head when he comes back in view on the left side. Then the critter crosses the street. Looks like a cat.

    Suspicious dude jogs through yards

Looks like some kind of critter running away at the end. Maybe he was chasing it and it didn't trigger the camera.

    Junk Weed Eater Thief

My wife actually got them from my neighbor when he cleaned his garage last year. I sold my good weed eater at a garage sale a couple of years ago. I just have no use for a weed eater. The end of driveway holds true here too, I just hadn't moved them out there yet. I wish he/she would have...
