@riogrande75 One last question, if you know, does the firmware has some sort of checksum? I can see that the posted files are ".bin" files, theoretically they may get corrupted while downloading. Basically, would VDPConfig download onto the device corrupted firmware? -

@riogrande75 Yep, found the thread, thanks. Question for you: what is the difference between a SIP firmware and a non-SIP firmware. Are there any reasons why a person might want to keep a non-SIP firmware? The seller advised that if I flash the SIP-firmware, I will not be able to downgrade back... -

@awsum140 Hmm I cannot seem to find POE splitters that would still provide POE while also providing power as well. The ones I can seem to find on flea bay and Amazon are like totally splitting the POE cable into power and non-poe Ethernet. This means I still have to run 2 cables to the camera... -

Hi, I am looking over the list of possible connections for this doorbell, I am not seeing any "feedback button" that would provide feedback if the button of the doorbell has been pressed. Or am I wrong? Can the doorbell be connected to an existing mechanical chime? Thanks! Dana -

Indeed, you are right, the camera works just fine, anyway I will be using it at 20fps maximum resolution, so that does not matter all that much. Btw, that is exactly the kind of camera I have :) What exactly do you mean by "a hacked camera with modified firmware"? -

Guys, guys, LOL. I am not looking into purchasing 80-90 bucks cameras, I am not here for the debate, I am looking at top of the line cameras. DarkFigher, Starlight, 4k, PTZ, etc. Or at least some of these attributes. Is there any Hikvision reliable seller around? -
