Yes - multiple times. Mostly I got alerted by a fellow forum user that suddenly things had gone missing - including on one occasion advice that might stop people bricking their cameras. No contact with any admin/mods unless I initiated it. -

Hikvision and logcurfile.bin
If this was a normal linux server you could consider either a caching daemon, or even redirecting the logfile with a symlink to the file on a ram disk (it the file is expendable/you put in place a way to make it survive a server crash). I've no idea about this NAS product so can't provide... -

Hi, Yes my region change solution would resolve the Chinese language issue, the day of the week issue, and the iVMS error. Also you probably won't be able to use an International region NVR with Chinese region cameras, which region change would also resolve. -

No. I am saying Hikvision IPC and Hikvision NVR needs to be same region (International region or Chinese region). If they are different regions they usually will not talk to each other. Also, if they are Chinese region usually English is not present. Hacks or region change can overcome these... -
