After testing, I'd rather replace the POE board than use a POE switch. But, Does anyone know if there is a supplier for these particular POE boards?

I don't have a stand alone PoE switch, but I see your point, it would be a good way to test the board.

    HIKVISION DS-7608NI-E2/8P NVR Circuit Board

Hi All, Had a lightning strike that tripped the breaker supplying my HIKVISION DS-7608NI-E2/8P. All of the POE ports are now dead, i.e. no lights blinking. Have checked the cameras and they work independently of the NVR. Disassembled the NVR and see no obvious damage. There really isn't much...

    Hikvision Virtual Host- Dead Links

Sure enough, after going into the NVR and changing the "Internal IPv4 address" to 192.168.250.1 I am able to get SADP to recognize the NVR (Still shows the same address as before- 192.168.254.34). With that one change, the virtual Host links to the cameras work perfectly! Is there still a need...

    Hikvision Virtual Host- Dead Links

I admit, I'm completely illiterate as far as networking goes, so the problem is definitely on my end. All I've done so far is connect the NVR to the router on my computer, run the SADP tool and used that to show the NVR address. After clicking on that IP address and logging in to the NVR, I...

    Hikvision Virtual Host- Dead Links

I plugged the cameras directly into my router to gain access to the camera itself. The two camera addresses according to SADP are: 192.168.254.2 192.168.254.3 Interesting thing is, I notice that these IP addresses do not match the NVR's IP addresses in Virtual Host, which are: 192.168.254.6...
