    Thanks for the info. SInce FPS settings "does nothing in BI" (per previous post) and you can not set IPS settings in BI what should you set to accommodate the transfer rate of the camera?

    I have to set Pre-trigger to 10 sec to get the start of the trigger. I have set my FPS on cam to what it is in BI. Anyone have this same problem? Any suggestions?

    That is what I did. I came up with this: You need to install the k-lite codec pack here...Third Party Software - Blue Iris It is the same codec I have "583"

    I had installed a codec earlier. I found a link you posted "Third Party Software - Blue Iris" and reinstalled the codec. I think it was the same I already had., It did not help. I will contact BI and see what codec they recommend. Thanks

    THe reason I like MP4s is that they have Thumbnails. I plan to store a lot of these and thumbnails are useful. BVRs do not have thumbnails

    Can you point me to the thread? I have done searches on this forum. Also just so you know both Windows Media Player and Realplayer on my desktop can play the MP4s that BI creates.

    I have 2 cameras that are exactly the same model. I have set "highlight motion" on each. On one that works great but the other I can not get it top work. It triggers but does not highlight. Does anyone knnow of a BI configuration that may be preventing the highlight from working?

    The problem I experience with using the zoom in a preset is that it will trigger the motion sensor when you are using the preset manually. Does anyone know how to stop this? (I have a Sunba)

    OK. Here is what I am doing. I have several cameras out the front of my house. When the main one gets triggered they all get triggered (group trigger) and go to a preset. THey all then record util the trigger is over. Then I would like them all to return to their original preset.

    I don't know how to stop it from cycling to all the preset unless you remove them from BI. The docs say you can stop the auto-cycle from going to a preset by putting a hyphen in the name but that does not work. "By placing a hyphen (-) at the end of a preset name/number, it is excluded...
