I noticed that you have Camera Rotation set to 180 degrees. This should be set in the camera not in blue iris. This may be causing the record problems.
That is the "Run maintainance" icon for the Database. Right click on the clips and choose Database at the bottom, then choose "Run Maintanace" and the icon will appear.
I had the same problem with authentication. I had to setup another user other than "admin" that had administrative rights, and use that name for authentication.
Try
/admin?camera=x&preset=n
It is much easier.
When using the pos command the positions 0-6 are used for move up,dn left, right, ect. So to got to preset 1 you would use 7, 8 for preset 2.
Try http://10.0.0.124:8080/admin?camera=Dahua_Turret&trigger&user=user&pw=password
I have to have the port number in the command for mine to work.
Also make sure Duhua_Turret is the SHORT camera name.
I had the same problem. I had to uncheck "Get events with PullPointSubscription".
It is in the Video/Network page in camera properties. Go to the Video tab and then "Configure"
I'm not sure why this just started with the latest update. Waiting on a response from Support.
The delays do cause a problem. You might be able to use Zone Crossing in the Motion Setting and Object Detection to keep the camera from moving back, but that would end up getting complicated and involve more cloned cameras. Under Alerts menu there is a Disarm time delay but I'm not sure if that...
The way I handled the problems that you are having, was to control it with a Veraplus controller and PIR motion sensors. The PIR sensors do not seem to react as bad to the camera IRs. This may not work in your case though.
You can play with the Min. duration (Make time) on the camera motion...
There are a couple of problems tho. The Huisun PTZ 10x is not fast enough to track fast moving objects like cars. You can not use multiple zones to make multiple actions. I use cloned cameras for different zones. I also use the zone crossing feature to anticipate the direction of the object I'm...
This can be done in Blue Iris. On the camera that is going to send the PTZ from on record, go to Camera properties and Alerts. Under Ations check "Request from a web service" Configure "When triggered" like this.
127.0.0.1:8021/admin?camera=BK2&preset=5
Replace 8021 with your actual web server...
Yes you can, but when I went to make sure, it did not work for me at first. It seems that you have to triple click on the folder name to change it. Strange!
For those who use a home automation system like I do (Vera) to automate BI, there is a new HTTP command to toggle motion triggering. Available in the latest update.
/admin?camera=cam1&motion=0 or 1
Just discovered a temporary work around for this problem. At least it worked for me. Open the .bvr file from windows File explorer. When it plays back in Blue Iris you can uncheck the "Test run video through motion detector". I can now play videos in BI as long as I don't check the test option...
This is what I have found so far. I hope it will help those that are confused with the new motion settings.
1. 4.3.0.2 has solved the "running as a service" problem for me as far as saving masks.
2. Masks used to be exclude areas and is now include areas. Green areas are motion detection areas...
Thanks, fenderman
I should have been more specific. If I use any rate above 1 fps it goes to realtime playback and not timelapse playback(per the manual). I need it to playback timelapse. I guess I could use the playback speed to get the same effect but I have 4 other cams recording at 1fps...
I am trying to record a timelapse at 3 FPS.
According to the manual:
"If you enable the Use alt framerate option, you can record single frames on a periodic basis. When you record video without audio at a framerate of less than 2fps, the playback framerate is set to 2fps. The effect is a...
fenderman, Your contributions to Blue Iris and this forum are too well known for you to be wasting your time with this kind of crap. Please let this go and continue with your very proffesional help we all know and appreciate. You are better than this and everyone with any real appreciation for...
Here is the list I have.
/image/{cam-short-name}?q=50&s=80
A single JPEG image from a specific camera, with optional quality (q) and scale (s) parameters. Quality is a percentage from 1-100, and scale may be any number >0.
/image/{cam-short-name}?h=100
You may also specify a specific height...
I use HTTP commands for BI PTZ and it works great!
/cam/{cam-short-name}?pos=x
Performs a PTZ command on the specified camera, where x= 0=left, 1=right, 2=up, 3=down, 4=home, 5=zoom in, 6=zoom out, 7+1 = Preset 1, 7+2 = Preset 2, etc
