The weird part is that when I check storage, there is definitely something being recorded as 151GB of the 256GB has been used up! But when I check Recordings, there is no data available. -

Yes, before I inserted in camera & also reformatted while in camera. Recorded fine when I Enabled Smart Motion Detection > Humans. This is when I first tested it indoors before I installed the camera at our 2nd floor eave. As mentioned, I never tested recording using the Smart Plan > IVS option. -

Sorry, I reset the camera already and was able to upgrade to the latest firmware. Disabled uPnP in config. Seems to be working fine now. Thank you all for your quick assistance!- f13dfx

I reset my cablemodem to factory defaults. Turns out uPnP was enabled by default, so I disabled that. Was able to factory reset all ip cameras & disable uPnP on all of them except for Hikvision DS-2532F-IWS which I disconnected before, ever since I discovered the red text overlay. Tried to...- f13dfx

I did go into BlueIris to double-check the login/pwd but couldn’t get in with it and yes, it’s connected to a Zyxel unmanaged switch & port forwarded.- f13dfx

Changed the thread title to compare with the most recent mini-PTZ everyone here is familiar with. I know there are no IR LEDs, but what if there is enough street lighting? Looking to replace the 2MP DH-SD52C225U-HNI as they are exactly the same form factor. -

I’ll have to do some reading up as I’m not well versed on fiber. My run is around 40’ (20’ inside; 20’ outside) through a PoE+ power injector, from a Zyxel PLA6456 powerline adapter.- f13dfx

I was browsing the Dahua US website’s product selector and saw this new WizSense 32x Mini-PTZ. Specs sure look identical to the 2MP DH-SD52C225U-HNI but now with 4MP & 2560x1440 rez. Wondering if it’s worth waiting for as I’m assuming the Auto-Tracking would be as good as the SD4A425DB-HNY... -

Do these ip cameras work with Powerline Adapters. Location doesn’t allow me to run a CAT6 line directly to camera. I probably would have to use a PoE injector to make this work. -

And what about this Solar Trail Camera? It’s got excellent reviews on Amazon & YouTube. It would also solve having to run ethernet cable underground! BTW it’s called the Campark TC22.
