[SOLVED] Need some help adding a Dahua DH-VTO2201F Doorbell video camera to BlueIris

Thanks for your input.. I could try wireshark with some guidance. As for the buyer, it was a link I got on a youtube video (I found it around here) but then had to settle for another seller as the original one did not ship to my country.. My firmware version apparently is the latest but of...

[SOLVED] Need some help adding a Dahua DH-VTO2201F Doorbell video camera to BlueIris

Besides the Get ONVIF trigger events everything is the same it seems... I should add maybe for sake of completeness the VTO firmware is 2022-03-18 V4.511.19HC000.0.R How is your VTO configured? Network etc?

[SOLVED] Need some help adding a Dahua DH-VTO2201F Doorbell video camera to BlueIris

Alright, I thought so but also saw a lot others redact local IPs Basically all are on the 192.168.0.0 network. VTO is 0.200, BI is 0.251, VTH is 0.197 Everything is under the same vlan, same switch basically. I can ping the VTO from the BI machine and BI actually finds something when doing the...

    VTO2202F-P BLUEIRIS ONVIF

@Holbs Thanks for this quick reply. Are you using the MQTT way to integrate? I was curious (as I cannot find relevant details in the documentation) have you any info regarding the pinouts behind the VTO or VTH unit? I was wondering if any of them could be used to 'close a circuit'. I have a...

Reolink: Deconstruction of a dangerous misleading youtube review "Finding the BEST 4K Security Camera NVR Package (Reolink vs Amcrest vs Swann)"

I know I said I'd test but believe me I've been crazy busy lol.. The latest firmware is supposed to help but just because my cams are behind the NVR no way to enable the feature.. So I just got a PoE switch and will reconfigure/connect everything and hopefully there's an improvement WRT the...

Adding Dahua VTO2111D-WP doorbell with two way audio to Blue Iris

    I made the Reolink mistake

I updated by downloading the firmware and putting on a pendrive and pushing it from the NVR itself. Some actions can only be done on the NVR and not via the web or windows client.. so annoying given where it's located for me..

    I made the Reolink mistake

Hey, sorry I still haven't gone around inspecting the 'improvements' if any as scientifically as possible.. for starters I was going to setup BI for this (since I'm using the reolink nvr.. I know don't judge). The only way to access the new 'features' is if the cameras are accessible from a...

Reolink: Deconstruction of a dangerous misleading youtube review "Finding the BEST 4K Security Camera NVR Package (Reolink vs Amcrest vs Swann)"

That's a great question.. I don't have a lot of time on my hands sadly to do a good side by side BUT I will say 1. The NVR is still crap. It seems that the NVR has a set of features it can address on the Cameras while the web interface has another, the phone app another and finally the desktop...

    I made the Reolink mistake

@looney2ns Sorry I meant firmware for the reolink (I know I'm disilusioned but I rather hope for that than think I have $800 ish of deadweight) I'd be ok trying non official firmware as long as it works

    I made the Reolink mistake

I created an account just to chime in that I'm another hookup 'victim'.. Saw Hookup recommend reolink a couple of times.. I had a hikvision way back (DS-2CD2032-I) which I liked but it seems that despite being very well informed 'usually' I fell in the trap. I got the reolinks (7x RLC-820As)...
