I am not an network expert (where is Nahr when you need him) It is my understanding and I am sure that someone will correct me if I am wrong - but if you had your server and the cameras on their own switch it would not have any impact on the rest of your network. So it may be to your advantage...

LOL The chart was written by Hikvision Perhaps you should take a closer look. The 15,360 line for a 3 mp camera is the BEST quality at 30 fps using 2048*1536 For the Imporx - go the the 2 mp line and pick your frame rate and picture quality. (it's not rocket science)

These cameras need POE+ The difference isn't the volts - it is the wattage. POE+ is 25 watts, POE is 15 watts I would try a POE+ injector or switch and see if that fixes it
