BI Web Gui is slow, the app is slow, the local is perfect. Tried everything above and it's still choppy. Workable, but lame.

Dahua (Amcrest) IVS triggers to BI

Here is the 4K/X. See the noise. I think it is "okay" but I dind't know if there was something I could do to improve it. I chose default to test first.

Any firmware upgrades worth having on either of the 5442 or the 4k/x? I've bought within last month.

Yeah, I'd say that looks purty damn good. Had trouble adding the right clip. But it looked great.

Dahua (Amcrest) IVS triggers to BI

Hey, I look like conehead when I walk away though! Ha. Thank you for your help. I like this setting, but I worry it won't get a runner. I will post the 4k/X night vision video in a different view with more light. It does better but I think the gain is added a lot of artifacts and blurring my body.

Installer in area uses G4 Direct - any experience with these?

This thread moved a different direction. Fore those interested I will continue to update the orginal triggers thread to save forum clutter. I have a life, somehow, so I will try to eventually get more details, screenshots, and camera angles into that thread...

Installer in area uses G4 Direct - any experience with these?

But Amcrest is Dahua and the only function I couldn't get to work was IVS. That happened to be the feature I needed, but it was still same camera manufacturer.

Installer in area uses G4 Direct - any experience with these?

You have been a tremendous help in getting my BI system up and running. For that I am thankful. I've heard what you have to say about sensor size, focal length, and playing with camera settings. However, It's hard to see the results. I have both the 4k/X and the 5442, and a 5842 (against your...

Installer in area uses G4 Direct - any experience with these?

Yes, 1/2.8. Also, it was the 4k I was referring too. They appear to be Dahua's anyway. https://g4direct.com/pages/legacy-product-resources Here is the 5mp they have on the wesbite: https://g4direct.com/collections/g4-ipc/products/mx5cz

Installer in area uses G4 Direct - any experience with these?

https://g4direct.com/ The cameras are of similar specification to Dahua from Andy. Some 4k having 1/2.8 sensor. The local guys use the 5mp because they say "4k" is worthless if your viewing on a lower res monitor. Although, I believe my phone is 4k. Any thoughts or experience with these...

Dahua (Amcrest) IVS triggers to BI

You are right. I have recently decided to throw the 5442 in that deck area. Can mess with the IR settings to blow it up. But I did wanna ask you something related without creating another thread. BI triggers on the app seems choppy. The WebGui are also choppy. Downloaded file is fine.

Ah, you are onto something. What is the default password? I had to change the PW from inside the camera ealrier today, and this must've not changed. It says invalid PW when I try the one I used when intially setting up camera.

    DH-IPC-HFW5842E-ZE-S2 BI sync issue.

The find/inspect doesn't autofill the stream profile, or the ONVIF source. When I type it in manually as your looks. I get a 8000007 error which says I should check my port/user/pass. BI didnt give me the feed when i typed it in manually. But when I find/inspect, it does at least give me the...

Do you know off-hand if I can throw a NVME into this one? The only downside to this one is having to buy 2 drives. One SSD or NVME, and then a PURPLE 3.5.

I am getting shredded on this. Can't dial the 4K/X in. I look at videos and photos of WC original review against the Hikvision Colorvue and I just think this is miles apart. Add why do I need to add illuminators if this is supposed to be a night color vision? DS-2CD2087G2-L

Both are 4KX. That is B/W mode. No IR but gave a great image, right? The color image is super noisy. Tried your setting suggestions for shutter and gain, with little stopping the noisy starry look in color mode.

Dahua (Amcrest) IVS triggers to BI

I was referring to the lack of IR. I thought the 5842 had IR and the 4k/x doesn't. That 4k/X lit my backyard up, but the motion blue effects were real. Maybe I need to adjust it to make it actually workable at night.
