Thanks for the tip. I took the chance and deleted the cam and now the arrows and the zoom work. All my presets still work too because it saves the preset memory in the cam and not BI so all I have to do I rename them.

I updated BI to the latest version (4.8.6.3 x64) now my PTZ SD59230U-HNI controls no longer function. All the presets that I previously set work but controlling it manually with the arrows and zoom don't. I also have a SD49225T-HN and everything work fine with that model. Can anyone help?

Does anyone know if I were to update my support to extended and get the upgrade will a new key be issued for 5 and could I continue to use 4 on a different machine as a stable fallback.

With this new update 4.8.4.2 I no longer can control my PTZ SD59230U-HNI. None of the arrows work. The presets still work.

Thanks safe mode didn't work either and had no system remote points but reverted windows back to a previous build, was able to open to the console but it crashed during the backup. Saved all settings except 3 cameras. Uninstalled and deleted all related registry data. Upon a reinstall it works now.

This is what I do with my 5231R-Z, 49225 and 5216-4KS2. I've had no issues or false alarms. Works every time. I set motion detection on 5231R-Z and then set it to trigger 49225 to a selected preset. Upon motion of the 5231R-Z the 49225 will move to the preset then move back to home location...
