So I added my 3rd 12MP fisheye camera last night and ran into a few hiccups 1. I couldn't set the area of interest on the 3rd camera correctly. I would draw a landscape rectangle and when I hit okay the camera window would instead resize to portrait. I messed with it for a while and gave up...

awe!!! Gawd! Sometimes I wonder what is the matter with my head. I changed the IP and forgot to change the port forward on the router.... working now. This why we never should change more than one thing without first testing.

So is it to be expected that if BI is running as a service with no gui instance open that I cannot connect via my iPhone app?

Okay, so BI must be reporting the stream size incorrectly then?

the above screen cap was from the raw fisheye stream this one screen cap is from the pano stream Can you please enlighten me as to how to figure out the stream size?

So no change if I switch to non pano (fisheye) still reports 4.1MP

forgive my ignorance... I did figure out how to open a stream in vlc but not sure what to make of the information

So I had continuous recording working and it would also show the event markers in the time line I made some changes from using intrusion dectection to line crossing detection and now I can only either record continual or events, not both... anyone know how to fix this I am using IVMS-4200...
