IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Ok, I added the objects:0 etc - still it's not detecting anything but people. The blue iris log shows that Deepstack cancelled the alert in like 17ms (even though the DS log shows it takes 500ms) Here is a sample .DAT file

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Should I run DS in medium or high mode? I assume the accuracy is better in high mode? The time listed on DS goes from 500ms to 1000ms, but I'm not sure that matters functionally?

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Will it save it on the docker side or the blue iris side?

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

The custom models are in a subdirectory. The average time is ~ 400ms regardless if anything found or not. Where would I expect to find .DAT files?

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Interesting. I would then think with this field blank I'm still running the default DS model then - but since I installed these models it's no longer detecting dogs and cars, so it seems like the original model performance is worse now...

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Ok. For my own education, what does this do? In the "to confirm" field, I assume I can also have all the other labels in your model, like pig, deer, etc..

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

I'm running DS on a docker on a different computer, so I assume my "custom models" field will be blank on BI?

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Pulled it from Github (GitHub - MikeLud/DeepStack-Security-Camera-Models) yesterday

IP Cam Talk Custom Community DeepStack Model

Since installing these custom models, DS is only detecting people. The original model was detecting cars and dogs, but that's not being identified anymore (even with a reduced certainty).

Updating PTZ presets in blue iris

    This worked, thanks!

Updating PTZ presets in blue iris

I have a few PTZ cameras of the same model. PTZ presets were set on the camera's webUI directly. On some of them, blue iris "knows" the presets programmed on the camera (and knows their name, like "mailbox" etc). On others, it doesn't (just lists the default "Preset 1" "Preset 2" etc, and...

    Reolink camera via crappy wifi

I was hoping for a configuration solution, not hardware. Since the other methods to view video off the cameras work with the current hardware, it seems reasonable there should be a blueiris config change that would help.

    Reolink camera via crappy wifi

I have 10+ reolink POE cameras set up successfully with BlueIris... They have been working great for years. I set up two new ones, that are being connected to my main wifi via a long-distance wifi bridge to an outbuilding. This connection is a bit spotty. I can connect to the cameras fine...

    Alerts vs. Clips

Ah. Ok - so for my 3 HDDs, I'll get rid of the "stored" folder, just have some cameras to "new" on HDD1 and others to AUX1 on HDD2 and other to AUX2 on HDD3, and set them all to just delete when full. And I can set my alert folder to be very tiny since I don't save JPGs. Sound right?

    Alerts vs. Clips

Is there any other way to utilize more than one drive other than have new on one drive and stored on a second?
  16. J

    Alerts vs. Clips

The "limit clip age" in the alerts folder is unchecked. I can even see on the timeline on the bottom that the motion alerts only go back abut 48 hrs, then it's just solid blue before that (clip only, no motion triggers) Is it possible when the clips are moved from the new folder to the stored...

    Alerts vs. Clips

Ok, why then would it be I can only go back ~48 hrs to look at "alerts" on the webviewer but I can go back weeks to look at "clips"? It seems if alerts are just pointers I should be able to go back as far as I have clips?
  18. J

    Alerts vs. Clips

I know this has been covered before, but I'm still a little hazy after reading the manual. Can someone clarify? On the webviewer: 1) There are "Clips" which appear to be full-disclosure - i.e. each clip is the full hour of recording from that camera. 2) There are "alerts" which are 1-2...

Video stream lost playing back alerts via web interface

I think it was a 4.8.1.1 issue. It works again after I upgraded to 4.8.1.3.

Video stream lost playing back alerts via web interface

Just recently (maybe the current update?) - I can no longer play back alerts via the web interface (Ui3 or Ui2). I can see all the alerts along the left, but if I click one to play it I get the "video stream lost" errors. I can play them back through the direct console fine. Clips I can...

    Alert folder issue

I think this is right, it seems like new->stored is the only two places movie files are being stored.

    Alert folder issue

I installed a second drive in my BlueIris server, and switched my "Alerts" folder to point at the new drive under Options/Clips and Archiving. When I go to Status/Clip storage, it correctly shows New,Stored on the E: drive and Alerts on the new F: drive. However, the F drive is empty; no new...

Blue Iris URLs for external streams

This helped get rid of the authentication issues, thanks. I'm still having issues getting this to work with CURL, despite it working in a webbrowser. This works fine: curl http://192.168.0.120/cam/Garage2/pos=1 But this doesn't: curl http://192.168.0.120/admin?camera=Garage2&preset=5 (both...

Yes, I tried both the admin login and other users (with admin rights), same error.

Blue Iris URLs for external streams

Ok, it's not a curl vs. webbrowser thing - the webbrowser was working since it was logged into blueiris already in another tab so didn't care about authentication. When I log out of blueiris, entering "http://192.168.0.120/admin?camera=Garage&preset=9&user=admin&pw=secret1" requires...

Blue Iris URLs for external streams

Not sure why I am getting "authorization required" for my admin commands - like this: http://192.168.0.120/admin?camera=Garage&preset=9&user=admin&pw=secret1 Edit: nevermind, this must be a CURL error - the url works in a webbrowser. Just need to figure out what is up when I run it in curl...

Blue Iris URLs for external streams

http://192.168.0.10/cam/Garage/pos=1 is a left turn, pos=0 is a right turn. pos=101 is supposedly preset 1, but this is not working for me. I think the issue is that when I look at the blue iris PTZ config for the camera, the camera is telling it that the "name/value" for the first preset is...

Blue Iris URLs for external streams

Has anyone gotten the PTZ URL command for the preset positions to work? They work for me in the blue iris web interface (so I know blue iris can control the camera presents) but not in the URL commands. I can do the left/right commands fine in the URL, but the pos=101, 102, 103 etc is not...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

That helps, thanks. If I set up 5 cameras in group1 and 5 cameras in group2, is there a way for it to show group 1 for 10s then group 2 for 10s, etc? (i.e. only 5 cameras on the screen at a time? Thanks!

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Is there a way in UI2 to change the grid layout? Right now it's defaulting to a 3x4 grid for 10 cameras. Since my cameras have different dimensions, this makes 4 in each of top two rows and 2 on last row. If I could move cameras to different rows I could maximize the real estate better since...
