I have analog cams, so maybe that is the reason I can't seem to get good results from the Major Lighting Changes Reset parameter. I've tried up to 99%, and back down to 1%. I can't really tell it's doing anything. Any pointers on how to deal with Lighting Changes?

Am I supposed to set up zones G and H, and exclude them from the alert? It still would get recorded just not generate an alert? I'm alert fatigued. I can miss my neighbour's mailbox getting demolished, I don't care lol.

Downloaded an app called IP Webcam, and at the bottom you start streaming, then do the BI Inspection on the IP and port. Works. It took me a while to find the 'start streaming' button for some reason.

I'm new, I've never heard of a write limit on SSD drives. I bought my system with a built in 500G SSD to run the OS, Blue Iris, and have a fast media for BI to write to. This is the wrong approach? I need to have Blue Iris writing to an external regular drive?

I see "Pre-Trigger Video Buffer" under recording. What about Advanced Object Detection; "Object travels Pixels", and "Object Exceeds Percentage"? I don't have that checked, just curious when you would use it?
