Anyone else having issues with Online access to their camera? Mine is up, my internet is fine, and I can stream via BI but in Guarding Vision, (EZVIZ Cloud backend) it says it’s offline. Going to reboot it but curious if anyone else is seeing similar issues?

The only way I was able to get alerting and door bell ring events to reliably come to all of the devices was to have everyone login with the same userid and password. i don’t think it matters which firmware Version you use. I have not found any of them have changed the URLs or provided any significant features beyond ONVIF support. I too would like snapshot capability but lest I left this route defeated. None of the urls I have for Hikvision work on this...

sounds just like what many of us has experienced with an undersized transformer. The contractor grade 16v 10va units are too small. I suggest 30va orhigher

i don’t think this camera has a still image url. I’ve tried all variations of them without success. Usually it would be: http://user:pass@ip:port/Streaming/channels/101/picture

Same worked for me. Turn it on first with EZVIZ firmware and then install LaView Firmware and poof it’s gone!

Am I the only one that can’t login to either of the LaView apps with my ID. It works on all the other ones (RCA, EZVIZ, Uniden, Claire, Guarding Vision etc.but not LaView) keeps telling me invalid account. I’ve tried username, phone number and email. At one point in time I created a new account...

I use ActionTiles on my Fire Sticks, Cube, IPad, IPhone etc! But I use the stream from BI instead of the stream from the camera. Make BI do the transcoding so the camera isn’t servicing more than it has to!

Here are the differences in IVMS-4200 for the overlay settings. I reverted to the EZVIZ Build 190708 because of the extra options. Oh yeah I need to clean my lens as well. ;-)

Nelly’s Firmware is old Build 190122 vs RCA at Build 190124. So is EZVIZ Build 190708 in comparison to LAVIEW Build 190716. Also going to EZVIZ Firmware opened up a lot more options in IVMS-4200 and also replaced RCA logo with EZVIZ logo and it can be turned off using IVMS-4200 setting. Yay...

I know you can use the IVM 4200 or whatever it’s called to do firmware updates. I will try the EZVIZ file on my RCA

So weird. Occasionally my Blue Iris stops responding and I have to reboot the BI server but mine is something to do with STunnel. It only happens when I connect remotely and didn’t do it until I implemented STunnel. Sometimes BI won’t connect to the DB but the app works fine for me. So weird...

I recently posted that RCA firmware was at 7.2.4 build 190724 but I was mistaken. It’s actually 7.2.4 build 190124.. I misread it. Oops. Anyone know where I can get the LaView or Nelly’s firmware so I can upgrade mine to the latest version?

Had anyone figured out how to get the RCA logo off the firmware? I hid it with overlays in BI but would like to get rid of it all together in the camera with a firmware update or hack. I tried finding a way by reading the custom Hikvision firmware guide but couldn’t figure it out.

Yeah it works pretty well. I do have to reboot it occasionally because the RTSP stream stops to Blue Iris but it’s working otherwise. Sometimes I have to reboot because it thinks the memory card needs initialized. Both situations happen rarely.

I have v5.2.4 (190724) not sure if this on has onvif and if it’s better but it’s what RCA Security is currently dishing out to their customers via their app.
