    ipc-t5442tm-as = trouble

We had this camera at work and it was very troublesome. So we retired it. Connection issues. Rather than throw it away directly. I thought I'd give it a try to see if it could be revived. I can see it with the Dahua config tool, but when I try to change the ip, I get a password error. When...

    "Please install the plug". Help

I've been away a whole, as my system has been fairly stable, but I have encountered a little problem I could use some help with. So, I was given a couple of IP cameras that were previously installed on another system. I am trying to get them connected on mine, but their IP addresses are...

I've neglected my system. Should i update firmware?

Thanks for that, I'm nit having any problems, was just thinking about it. I'm not real impressed with those n43s compared to my other ones. I picked them up cheap, so my expectations weren't very high anyway. But I guess I was hoping for better video quality or something. Especially in low...

Actually, the 5231 camera is 2 - same as 4 1 and 3 are dome cameras of some model I'm not sure of. Thanks for that reply, I'll look that over in the morning.

I've neglected my system. Should i update firmware?

Hello all, I've been absent for some time, but am recently thinking of adding a camera to my system. I've sort of lost touch with my specific hardware, and would like to avoid too many trips up and down a ladder. I took a screenshot of my setup screen to show my current hardware. Would...

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

That is probably the route i will take. Just shelve these cameras for a while. I was not aware previously, but there are several spare 600 line cameras on site to use. Will modify the adapter I made to accept them

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

True, but the user just wanted to replace some cameras, not the the dvr too. System was working fine for his needs. Like i said, i just assumed there was a switch, or parallel signal outputs. Never was aware of anything you guys have mentioned.

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

I am rather dissapointed that these new cameras are useless to me at this point. Wasted $$

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

On the AIM that I just connected, there are communication options on PTZ screen, but no resolution. I get a bunch of wavy type horizontal lines. Can't find where I can select anything that you mention. The AIM is definitively a newer OS.

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

In the time i spent with it, i could access focus and ptz sub screen, but did not seem to be what i was looking for regarding resolution. I think it has other problems too. Couldn't get to any playback screens. I do have another dvr that i am not using. It is newer. AIM and says h.264 on...

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

Ok Perhaps i could access the changes with a different dvr, if it's not possible with the current one

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

I have not. I did try a couple different 650 line cameras and they came right up. So, the camera setup has to be done in the dvr? I naively assumed there would be some sort of switch. Thinking that the old dvr would not have the ability.

So, no ideas on what i can do to get the signals on my dvr?

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

Oh, btw, here is what they look like on the arm mounts i modified. If you look close, you can see the aluminum plate i used to adapt the bolt patterns.

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

Well, I ended up getting a couple of the HAC-HDW2231R-Z cameras. Supposed to be dual mode hd and sd. When i connected one to the dvr, that channel showed a solid green screen There is no indication on how to switch between sd and hd. Is that my problem? Thanks

    Dahua motion detect recording delay

Not completely, there is still a delay. I had the anti-dither set to 1 sec. Just changed it to 0.5 I will admit that I have not spent much time changing settings for sensitivity and threshold. I don't want too many false alarms and had the S set at 60 and T at 30. I just now changed S to...

Not sure what happened with the login problem. Was fine, then nit, then fine again. I just waited. Well, looks like both cameras in tinycam are the same cam in my system. Both have the ip of my NVR, not the cameras themselves

How do you all watch Dahua cams on your tv's

Repoting back... I purchased the HK1 with 7.1.2. Connected via ethernet. Installed gDMSS, but could not get it working. It seems like gDMSS needs wifi. I tried to get wifi connected, but could not. It did not even see my 5g network. Entered password for the slower network, but never found...

Replacing/upgrading BNC cameras on Ganz DR4N

I can't believe my problem is that unique. Wonder if I could put a PFA135 on the end of a PFA110 Just get a 3/4 nipple connected to the PFA110, and then screw the 135 on.
