Awaiting test on doorbell, its gone back to the seller. I did test the card fully as suggested above.

Terrible, I sent it back and now I have KB6003. It's so buggy, that is almost dissuade people using it. Anyone thinking of this doorbell, hold out as Hikvision is releasing a new doorbell soon.

Ran the test and yes it's 128gb. Surely it would have looped and recorded over the footage had it not been 128gb.

So I picked up the 128gb Samsung SD card. Formatted it to fat32. Inserted it into the camera and I get 1 hour worth if recording and then nothing. Tried to initialize the card through the app. It hangs at 95% then hits 100%, but the initialize option is still available? So is it initialized or...

So I just read something in a review and I'm yet to hear from hikvision. Apparently this does not work with a mechanicsl chime, unlike the KB6003. Anyone know if the user review I read is true!?

I only realised once they told me they were out of stock (KB6003). I then had this sinking feeling that they sent me the wrong one all along.

So I know why it didn't work. They sent me the KB6403 model which is the 12VDC version of the doorbell. I ordered the KB6003 which is the 24VAC!! No wonder it doesn't work... tragic! So now I've ordered the correct 12VDC 1A inl8ne supply for the replacement KB6403 Unbelivable. I will keep...

Ok will try, no resistor was in the box, but a replacement arrives tomorrow. Should the chime have the connections bridged this way? #0 and #3 have that thin wire bridging them. Could I damage the doorbell messing about with it like this?

I tried that, no power to doorbell, flickered briefly. Hikvision wrote back and confused me even more with this diagram. Now thru say to add resistor. Wiring is different too.

Ok so, let me see if I get this. I have attached the picture of the 772 chime. So ignoring the battery. Should I connect connect to points 3 and 0 in the loop suggested above.

That is awesome thank you bob! So is that showing the following Transformer black into chim Transformer Red into chim Doorbell black into chim Doorbell red into chim Could I risk damaging anything if I made a mistake wiring?

Ok so the transformer is good then? Anyone have some pictures of connecting this to the transformer and chime? I have seen then manual showing an open circuit but not really sure where the red wire and black wire goes in the loop?
