NEW SD59225U-HNI Latest New Firmware SD-Eos_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.812.0000007.0.R.210706

I've had it installed on mine for a few weeks now, I don't use AT on that camera but otherwise it's been fine, just had to update the BI PTZ profile to get movement back. I do reboot the PTZ cameras daily (an old habit) so haven't seen any long term things as mine are never up longer than 24...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

These are my settings (I've got bitrate cranked up higher than it needs to be but I've been very happy with these settings). They would need tweaking for your environment and work well for mine with the LED light actively on and used with a street light a couple of houses away. I probably...

Sorry just got the 2335 hooked up again yesterday - it was 1/60.

Review - Dahua SD49225XA-HNR 2MP 25x Starlight + IR PTZ AI Camera with Deep IVS & SMD Plus

When setting these to detect cars or humans can you prioritise one over the other, ie follow humans more importantly than cars?

    PTZ1A225U-IRA-N 2MP 25x Starlight

I think they're limited by the older SoC in these in terms of what it can do with autotracking etc. I might try a temp cable run to a 4Mp cam to see how that compares in the dark, it's been a good week for firebursts during the lyrid showers! I'm not sure what this next one was though - it...

Review - Dahua SD49225XA-HNR 2MP 25x Starlight + IR PTZ AI Camera with Deep IVS & SMD Plus

Is that +VAT mate or including please? Have to admit I'm tempted to swap out the 59225 and sell that on locally.

I was trying to capture Starlink and ended up catching a few shooting stars during the lyrid shower.

    Narrow Alleyway Camera

Sure - I don't have any recent ones of people at night but here's one of the local cats coming in to take yet another crap in our backyard (this is zoomed in a bit more than the last one was). This area is normally pitch black as no lighting at all.

    SD5A425XA-HNR

I've been waiting for this one too - really happy with the same size sensor in the HK turret I put up recently. My 59225 is quite noisy (much more than the 1A225) so hoping these new ones will be quieter. Half of me is thinking the 4 series will probably do what I need but the quality of these...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I did try with the LED light off but for movement motion sharpness drops and noise ramps up at the 1/500 frame rate I'm using here - the light works well for us as although there are a few LED street lights on our street it's too dark to see where you're putting the key etc. Plus the added...

    Narrow Alleyway Camera

This is my 5231 in corridor mode in a narrow path - it's on the PFB203W Just drop the height and it works well. I'll only replace this with a camera with motion activated PIR I reckon so it doubles up as a light. For now I don't want to put a camera with always on light at night as the local...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

You have to set one at first login - try logging into the default IP printed on the box and see if you can get in There's also the SADP tool that should tell you the ip, change your laptop temporarily to match and try to connect.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Hopefully this will help - if you pick the model and leave defaults apart from IP, username and password that should then work straight away. If you change the default ports you would need to update that too.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

The biggest thing from the 2335 is the aspect ratio difference of the sensor & lens. On the 2335 I could easily fit the full length of the left hand estate car in but I can't dial this one in. With this new ColorVu camera the picture is sharper across the entire frame (my 2335 was soft towards...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I just tried another sample at 1/12 and the same settings as before which is much brighter but much more motion blur - the bigger sensor makes all the difference for colour at night and certainly lives up to the ColorVu branding. I've gone back to 1/500 for now to see how it goes through the...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Here's a raw sample from mine with the LED on, unfortunately the camera can make out every line on my tshirt and not just the big ones :D Settings were 1/500 exposure with 75% gain, DNR set to expert with 0/30.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

Thanks for the heads up - I only got 5.6.3 installed a couple of days ago! I did see in one of the DVS tests I think it was saying they'd also requested the light be turned on in reaction to a smart event such as motion detected. I've just checked the switch and it's showing power usage around...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

It works fine for me here in the latest Android version of Tiny Cam Pro - I've got it set as a DS-2CD2442F-I(W) and it's working perfectly fine.

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I'll get the camera mounted outside soon and get some up as it's perched on a window sill at the moment, I'm going to do a straight swap for the 2335 later on the front of the house weather permitting. For this one there is street lighting so I can try and rely on that - I'm not sure what...

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.

I just picked up a couple of these today from a local store - we've got an issue with drug dealers dealing right outside our house so I want some higher quality clearer footage ASAP! I think they're the same camera - the DS-2CD2347G1-LU. The store only had 2.8mm in which is a bit wide for me...

    SD8A820WA-HNF 4/3 Sensor Cam Arrived

A late response but looking at the specs of the camera it's only a 100Mbps interface anyway (not gigabit?) Lag may be the switch end autodetecting 100/Half Duplex instead of 100/Full duplex - always worth checking both the switch end and camera end to make sure they match. Likewise the specs...

    SD49225XA-HNR Anyone have one?

It certainly does look good - have any of you had the older models to compare physical noise levels from the camera please? My 59225 has been up a couple of years now and is getting noisy so thinking about swapping it for something quieter. @EMPIRETECANDY is this a replacement for the 59225 as...

    SD59225U-HNI DH_SD-Eos_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.5.R.190827

That's interesting - which picture settings did you see change as nothing jumped out at me. I've never used EIS here as I'm mounted solidly on the side of a house but very interesting about that warning - even with it off mine still does the tail spins at times and seems to struggle with rules...

    SD59225U-HNI DH_SD-Eos_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.5.R.190827

It's one firmware for both and you just set the video standard accordingly in the camera menu (unlike some older camera firmwares which were different files for each).

    SD59225U-HNI DH_SD-Eos_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.5.R.190827

I'm just back in after the school run and checking the cameras now to get the defaults done - just a warning to those who don't that some settings are changed after the update(best practice is always reset to defaults after the upgrades but not everyone does it). The one obvious one is text...

    SD59225U-HNI DH_SD-Eos_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000000.5.R.190827

Thanks Andy, I've upgraded the PTZ1A225U-IRA-N & DH-SD59225U-HNI here so will see how they go. If anyone is wondering this firmware still requires the browser plugin unlike some other Dahua cameras which are plugin free.
